# rsync -avz/this/that. Split your directories corresponding to the sizes of your drives. If on Linux, run smartctl -H/dev/sdX to check your disk health and if possible, take the HDD's our of their usb enclosures and connect them directly to SATA for faster xfer speeds. These drives will 9/10 mount just like a normal drive since usually they are just a normal drive housed in an enclosure.
I second this! For $199 for the 8gb, how the hell can you go wrong? I was hesitant when I ordered and was slightly afraid of what the build quality, speed, blah blah was going to be like and to be honest, had I paid $300 for it, I would have still been happy.
I paid $198USD for my 8gb un-opened Nexus on Fleabay. That was a few days ago and now I look they're averaging around $280USD for the 8gb model. Damn, my seller must be pissed!
I second this! This does EVERYTHING you need provided that you script on a remote machine (which IMO makes more sense) - I use it all the time for monitoring database usage, uptime, disk free space and that's just a splash in the water. There are classes for PHP, Python, C,.Net, Ruby to name a few. I don't work for them but it was the best $3 I have spent in a while.
Thanks for this Mr. 5 Digits. I can (and actively do) script some simple Bash scripts to check things over VPN like the OP but having a way to (potentially) use existing Python scripts on my Android daily driver could make my life just that little bit easier! Xie Xie!
Twice the size, nearly 3 times the price, no GPIO headers, no expansion for the RasPI Cam and Display. Oh, and it runs Android (seriously, apples and oranges anyone??) Yep... I can really see it rivaling the Pi.
This is the kind of headline I expect to read over at Gizmodo. For shame/., for shame.
That's a bit rough, mate! You obviously don't have kids, do you? "Mummmm, Daaaddddd, Can we have Maccas???? PPLLEEEAASSEE?????"
Besides, My folks used to take me to Micky D's all the time...and 15 years later I speak 3 languages. Not to blow my own horn but I turned out alright (and I'm not even overweight!....yet)
I can see this being a huge win (no pin intended) for people like me who have bizarre feet!
I run roughly 50 - 60km a week and always struggle to find a pair of shoes that cater for my wide retarded feet and pinky toes which stick out the wrong way. (sadly the latter is hereditary)
Every year I do the 2000km change over of shoes and it's always a bloody headache buying new shoes.
"Based on the Cern results alone there appears to be less than one chance in a million that this is fake, which is roughly the same probability as flipping a coin heads-up 21 times in a row."
Problem with ZFS is that he'll need a shit ton of RAM. Once ZFS eats into swap, everything goes slowmo!

Good luck
From the TFA: "so in a time where our platform vendor is taking steps to limit our freedom, this is my small attempt of countering such trend."
Whilst I'll probably never use TextMate in Linux since I'm an Vim kinda guy, this sort of mentality is really great to see.
We're on the same page I see! :)
"This ensures that the desktop will fit on CD#1, which gnome currently does not." -- Works for me!
Comic store guy, is that you?
Considering the population of PRC is over 1.3b, you can't always assume that foul play is at hand (excuse the pun)
And I've taken friends along to one too many "shows" in Pattaya, so trust me when I say, dropping yer dacks just ain't gonna cut it!!
You're spot on. I have 100's of PHP Classes and Functions that I have built up over the years that I can drop in and save myself literally hours.
Pretty sure /. or Reddit or 4chan are not off the shelf CMS's. Yes, they are CMS's in a sense of the word but I am pretty sure they were hand coded.
I agree that Drupal, Word Press, Joomla etc have their place, but it's not always for everyone.
And if you need to go over the code you've already written on a regular basis, if you decided against a WYSIWYG, you'd be bloody thankful!

Yep, 1080p with DTS is TOTALLY watchable over wifi. Good luck with that mate.

Are always better than one!
Totally bet me to it! Except I thought v15.0 translates to .000000000000013 Alpha??? Oh wait! I'm wrong, it's really RC1!!! Sorry, easy mistake!
I was totally expecting Firefox 100000015! True story!
Totally off-topic but I recently "acquired" a Das Keyboard and it it absolutely rules! Mind you I got the "clicky" one and my wife hates me!
On-topic, time to buy up qwerty keyboards just in-case the general populations is stupider than I though! (you think I'm kidding, right??)

On a school day no less!

That's what she said.
:)
Sorry, 6 beers in and I couldn't help myself
