Having a bomb will not stop the US from driving the Iranian government out of power.

But it will prevent the US from openly targeting the Iranian Govt and Army. Come back when the US targets the Pakistani Army Commander in chief and they dont use their Nuclear weapons.

but if you want your ads to show up along with Google search results, you have to advertise with Google. That doesn't make them a monopoly. Google doesn't even have a monopoly if you only limit it to web advertising.

That is not what I meant by a monopoly. Google has pretty much cornered the search engine ad market. They are leveraging it to promote Google Finance, Maps, Flighs, so on.

What license? Why do you need a license to write your own code? Reverse engineering has always been legal. Or are you talking about patent violations? I agree it is not legal in the US to violate patents, and we could be sued for it. It is not criminal though, and not really FBI's job to go after civil disputes.

And FYI, the article is about breaking DRM, not about patents or copyright. Breaking DRM is criminal. But there are exceptions like jail breaking your own phone (god, I am repeating the summary). The question is why is there no exception for breaking DRM to simply watch the content you legally own? These two sound pretty similar to me.

Motorized bicycles are legal in pretty much all states. You can find sources for some of those in here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_bicycle_laws#State_requirements_for_use

Strange, in Alaska, do you need a license to ride a bicycle (or say an electric bicycle or a motorized bicycle). In Oregon, they are all legal within certain limits. In my city (Portland, OR), even Stakeboarding on the roads is legal (they dont have reflectors, lights, turn lights either), so I dont why scooters should be any different.
