Er, defend not destroy. Not every army is like the American one. Most serve to defend the country (in fact conscription in most European countries serve as a training to gather reserve soldiers, so that, if need comes and the country is under attack, they can be called upon to serve). I would be glad to be called upon to defend my country (definitely not to attack Iraq or Afghanistan).
Actually no other phone/tablet has so many preorders and so much rush to get it on the day it becomes available. So yeah there is no sudden spike for other companies, and they dont need to bring in temporary students to fill the rush.
It is the same software. It usually says "Powered by Blah Blah". My HP software uses a newer version of the same software (branded as HP Simple Pass 2010 Identity Protection powered by AuthenTech), which supposedly is not vulnerable.
To add to that, the only reason you would patent something in today's world, is to prevent getting sued by patent trolls and to add to you MAD defense. You can never even dream of preventing someone else from using your patent.
Er, you cannot prevent anyone from using your patent. You can only sue them for compensation. Most large companies have enough patents, to go on the offensive when sued. So this patent would never prevent Amazon or Microsoft or Google themselves from using it. It does prevent them from being sued if they decided to implement this idea, though.
Before Apple officially announces something, it "leaks" information about the device. This could be part of the leak. Just because you dont like it, doesnt mean it is not true (infact you should check with your corporate masters, you might even be supposed to assume this as true and sing songs about how great this is)
I chose Ting for the same reason too actually (I did monitor my data usage though, before I switched (I switched from an unlimited one)). They officially allow BYOD (you can bring any sprint device). They also used to host a hacker forum to help people swap ESN, before BYOD was not allowed. Their customer service is like Amazon's, they bend backwards to help you, and they are really knowledgeable.
It does seem pretty expensive though? Basic voice plan is $40, and unlimited 4G LTE data is $30. Did you consider a prepaid service like Ting?
And to answer your comment, Sprint simultaneously allowed all of it's MVNOs to use LTE phones. Ting unlike CREDO, allowed customers to preorder the phones, and is technically gets to call itself the first to offer LTE phones (and service).
Of course it does. I also remember something about working in Oil Platforms, HP help lines (along side Dell helplines), being a chemistry expert, and also having a father that worked in harpoon radar guidance system (and having talked a lot about them with you). Some more jobs too. Impressive if I may add.
Actually, someone else who does not apply CA tax, will get the business. If I get a $700 laptop, the tax would be 70 dollars (Recycling tax+tax in my county is 9.25%). I would rather buy it from one of the other online retailers.
You forgot about being in the army and being in the defense industry later, being a scientist doing physics, and a few other jobs. If you do so many jobs, I can see how you can forget.
I am pretty sure you will be fine with a better driving simulation test (it will simulate all sorts of people driving around you, test your reaction time, etc) then. If you pass you get to drive, if not let a machine drive for you.

Are you sure that was a laser pulse?
B&N has had a frontlit one for about 6 months now. They call it GlowLight.
Injunctions exists. But you would be invoking MAD if you file an injunction against any large company. (Please reread my post and my reply).

Er, make that 1920x1080 (sorry about the typo)
HD usually means 1920x1080. Unless they got the naming wrong (and get sued for misleading advertising), the 7" should be 1920x1800 too.

Monopoly on iPhone data cables, I suppose.

You should have drunk it completely, just to see their reaction.
Plus if the phone dies, I get to keep the data, and most likely continue to use the SD card.
A class 10 (your looks like class 4, most likely class 2) is a bit more expensive. I agree with your point though.

I was thinking like one job a day and 365 jobs an year. But yeah 3 jobs is good.
Khyber, nice job title. Looks like you keep changing jobs too often (sometimes once a day)
Even pointing a gun at a person is a criminal offence, never mind shooting them. (law enforcement excluded, naturally).
I read that as, pointing a gun at law enforcement or shooting at them is fine [naturally]. Made me laugh aloud.
It is a Danish company, I would cut them some slack.
