Annoying, sort of disappointing, and getting really old. Seriously no one's impressed, if they didn't take responsibility then maybe for one second some people just might think it was anonymous and they would get a little more than 15 minutes of fame, either way why attack PBS over what was said about a different group?
Well I can only assume the Martin Jetpack is somewhat of a prototype of this sort of technology as advanced as it may be, but If/once we would be able to customize something like this then I could purchase something more suitable to my jet-packing needs, the "useful pilot" load for this is 280lbs, so being around 160lbs I should be able to theoretically either use the weight gap to my advantage in terms of need for thrust or acceleration speeds, etc. And surely there's should be somewhat of a sport model, probably a lot less safe and having the undercarriage and flight displays stripped, because honestly I'm not too concerned about safety, If you're going to crash this thing it's going to go badly, and If the outside of the craft was covered in a solar panel coating then I'm sure if they can't make it much smaller they can at least make it fly longer. The design is very rigid as of now, why not design some way to fold it once it's landed? No suggestions on how exactly you would do that, but I'm not waiting 50 years for nanotubes to show up I'll just wait 10 for human ingenuity to do it's job.
Where do I get mine? Seriously this is as close as we're getting to jet packs right now, so how long until this is commercialized or I'm not interested.
How does on get to a position where you can suggest we mine the moon and be taken seriously? Also assuming humans will do what we always do with any resource and deplete the hell out of it, is it possible this could eventually lead to such problems such as affecting the tides perhaps?
The more I think about this the more it makes me want to go to get my hands on a cape. Also if Florida's filled with the caped homeless, the elderly, gators, and disney characters...what else is there?
Life would be much simpler if we all had to literally run through mazes and be punished or rewarded by soulless overlords, rather than just figuratively.
Apparently "GoPro" camera's have made it possible to shoot your own 3D film's, on their website in states:
"The 3D HERO System allows you to combine two 1080p HD HERO cameras into a single housing to record 3D video and photos while simultaneously recording in 2D. A synchronization cable plugs into the rear HERO Port on both cameras to join them together, enabling both cameras to record video and photos in perfect synchronization." So 2 of their 1080p HD camera's would run you around $270 each, plus the 3D HERO System that is actually quite simple and only costs $100 plus whatever mount's you may want. GoPro also just acquired "CineForm", which will allow you to edit the footage for free.
Cool, I stand corrected then, I'd still like to know who started the whole $12 billion rumor/urban legend and caused me to make such an outrageously incorrect statement. So would it be more accurate to say pencil's were used my astronauts and cosmonauts alike at one point until they were determined to be dangerous to be used in space, and Fisher created the first space pen for $1.5 mil?
Someone that was on the Colbert Report the other night, claiming to be a ``historian`` of the American space program, was saying something like Space X could build everything needed to launch a rocket into space for the same price NASA spends on building just a launch tower, but NASA also needed $12 billion and a decade to make a pen that worked in 0 gravity... and the Russians just used a pencil, classic.

The Osborne's around 25lb's, that's one cumbersome weapon, but potentially a one hit win, although a swift uppercut with an iPad 2 would deal out some dual core pain. I'm not sure now but I think the Osborne win's due to it's sweet handle and beastly design.

I don't know if it's dumber to successfully pay good money to be able to walk around guided only by what you can see on a 3 inch screen behind your texts or if you were fooled by the "freeloader" app? Who or what is a freeloader anyways? I guess you can't say "Pirated Android App Shames Pirates" or "Freeloading Android App Shames Freeloaders". Maybe "freeloader's" and pirate's don't want to be associated with one another.

Would applying solar panels to bald spots be considered funky enough?

Well I'll get saving then, I hope by the time I can afford one they're not still the size of smart cars.

Yes it's epicly stupid, but you have to admit if there's at least a few trolls involved this farm could get really interesting.
SO hiding in a mansion outside Pakistan!

So realistically are we going to see lots more homeless people in capes? Because that's a world I want to live in.
If they realize they're a mac will they regret being alive and commit suicide?

Interesting... would it be possible to come by in a lab coat with a cattle prod? For no reason in particular...
