    FB the corporation and its customer corporations are not dealing with moral issues of their products, purely trying to maximize the profit motive.

    as much as I personally may despise FB and thus refuse to become its product, the Product is willingly and knowingly presenting itself to slaughter.

    by progress, i meant debilitating authoritarian control of government and corporations. which leads to monitization of the simplest processes thus furthering the economic divide between the rich and the consumed.

    i never understood why on a private toll road there is ANY speed limit. i always use those private toll roads because there is typically less of a traffic cop presence and most people don't want to pay extra so the traffic is less.

    other users are also not metered in your example, if you pay for access and not bw then is your access hampered in anyway when you have a loss of bw because of excess netflix bw usage? i do however disagree that its access and not bw that you are paying for, its always a bw issue, if you had unlimited bw then this would never be an issue. i pay for the highest tier of bw available in my area, because i don't want slow access. if i only wanted access with quality, i would pay for the cheapest access.

    I am also subsidizing all 5000 channels when i only watch 10, perhaps that subsidy should also be on the table.

    what is wrong? you pay for BW... how you use it is your business, right? you cannot consume more BW than what you are allocated because you paid for it.

    Board certification is not required to practice medicine in any state, however you do need to be licensed to practice in that state. you can also be licensed to practice in many states even though you don't practice there.

    people pay good money for the Orient Express experience and i for one would love to do a trans ocean flight experience ala 20's with luxury in mind. Michelin rated chefs and such.
