I think it would be great for a US company to withdrawl and say F**k You. Ford, GM, Chrysler did it to some states. The states passed laws that said the companies would be liable for leased cars, so they don't lease cars in those states anymore. No different its just a whole country and it would be for long. Are they breaking the law if they have a disclaimer that says you must own this CD to download it? I notice a lot of IRC people do this. They also say if your part of the RIAA, law enforcement, etc.. your not allow to download anything. What are your thoughts on those?
See the real point is people on slashdot have more of a clue about business and politics and how they work. Where the rest of the world don't all they care is what effects their little world. Most people are clueless and I can't help that. At slashdot you get a little more of the story that you don't see in the real world. Of course I am not talking about the 99% of trolls out there either. The people that just read and don't really post are the intellegent ones. I don't know why I started posting again anyways.
Then they can rename it and continue. So how different does it have to be? I don't think Lindows lost there suit. Thats still half of Windows(tm). Just like Freecraft is half of Starcraft(tm). I know they don't have the money to fight. They should just change the name and continue.

I am sure Warcraft 3 will make it to the $2 shelves and I still wont buy it. I have always disliked that company. All I can say is that I did not license my AIX boxes through SCO. I licensed them through IBM and the only person that can revoke that is IBM!! The courts my not see it that way but I have no contract with SCO so how does SCO think that everyone running AIX will be illegal?
I think it is more of a case that SCO stole GPL code instead of the other way around. It will all come out in trail. They have to proof the own the code first.

Well by Microsoft. I heard they give you alot more control over thier products. Just read a EULA.

Could my company sue SCO for making our Hardware usless? Also we just ordered 6 AIX boxes so can I sue them for disrupting business?
