One bug every 2-3 months. How long does it take to resolve that bug. An estimate of 4-6 bugs a year is not that severe of an issue and like the owner is better off without the extensive bug testing.

RIAA/MPAA has been unable to deter honesst hard-working law abiding people to stop P2P by taking a few to court. What makes them think that those criminal spammers, who have links with the underground would be deterred by it!
If you are in a good mood, why not donate it to a local charity - either for them to use or for them to donate to someone else. This may bring in pennies for you but to someone in need of it, it could be a blessing.
While the reasons given for supporting piracy such as better concert ticket sales are true and Radiohead did benefit from that pay-what-you-want system, the Record Industry do not benefit from such a system and thus woul try their best to stop p2p and illegal sharing.
The only way P2P could succeed, with artists getting their fair share through tours and sponsorship is if the Music Industry was bypassed.

First they allow, two hours later its gone, then after a day they allow once again and eventually bham its gone. Cant they make up their mind whether to allow the App or not.

Isn't this just the case of having higher than usual expectations for KDE than other closed source programs... I am typing this on my Macbook Pro and when 10.5.0 came out it also lacked some of the basic features.... Even the menu couldn't be solid like previous time but was only in opaque style.... Except for the best of fanboys, people were hesitant to upgrade to 10.5 and only after couple of point releases did it improve on the things... Same goes for Vista
Now isnt this the same case with KDE 4.... with the first release buggy and maybe missing couple of usual features.... Ofcourse I didnt like the (in)stability of KDE 4 and thus switched backed to 3.5 but the same thing happened with other OS'es and people are sut over reacting to it.
Not as tight as Youtube policy? The only region where they may be 'tight' is in removing copyrighted material.... nothing else..... Just look at the recently uploaded, most viewed by day, week or maybe even month.... more than half of them involve some almost naked girl in the preview and sex based themes (although they may not contain actual sex scenes) but that still is not tight implementation....
But you have to take into consideration the Genuine Windows Advantage Check which prevented a lot of people, including legitimate ones from upgrading IE6 to IE7.
In most likelyhood they either had to wait to get a version which bypasses the check OR (and most likely) didnt consider it to be worth the effort.
Firefox luckily doesnt check whether your OS has been flagged as pirated or not. This could also have played a part.

You are missing my point.... the gameplay of both versions would be the same regardless of the DRM. I am commenting on the game itself and not any other stuff. Its life saying the pirated version has a.bat file for installer whreras the real version has a setup.exe file

If they have improved the game from the earlier 'privacy' version then i am sure all these sites would be willing to re-consider their reviews based on the new game play.
What Atari fears is that the earlier review was the 'final' version of the game and these reviews may harm purchase from people who may accidentally buy the game thinking it to be better than it is.
Tell them it would give your travel agency a bad rep. No one reads spam these days and would most likely piss them off. Which does not go good for business.
You could also say that this could be a setup on part of your competitor to see how you would act in such a morally damning area. Maybe they would base their own future actions based on this. Think about it: Who gives To and CC fields and email's a copy to their competitors. ITS A TRAP (you may not believe it but to convince your boss you may have to do that)
It seems that you are not so competent at providing the one service you have been given a virtual monopoly to provide so how do you think you ould be able to compete with other firms offering the same downloadable content like I dont know iTunes, Netflix (maybe not in canada as yet), CBC etc.
