Exactly, thus my comment "a bit overpriced", although it is a really NICE netbook, it's not worth $1000 to me. For $600 or so including the KB thing, I would have considered it, for $1000 I would add a few hundred and then get the Lenovo 13" ultrabook/tablet thing or something similar. It's nice to use, small, has great battery life and so on. As a bonus when I'm travelling I can fold back (or famously snap off) the cover/KB and browse my email or whatever while awaiting my breakfast. I can enter my scuba dive log info while awaiting my beer. Or whatever. It IS a damn nice device but it's absolutely not a good value for the price they want to charge for it. For "free", I love it though;)
Microsoft "gave" me a Surface Pro a while back and it's actually a decent device, I use it a lot as a replacement for my old netbook, but it's not really a tablet so much as a new netbook with touch. The RT... I am amazed anyone thought anything about that was a good idea. As far as I can see the RT is completely full of fail whereas the Pro is merely a bit overpriced.
Think of someone taking two steps west and two steps north. If you WATCH them, you can count four steps. If you don't watch them, you count sqrt(8) steps.
Nope, no sale. If I come up with 4 as an answer, you can't know if it was 5-1, 2+2, 3+1, 3.5+0.5, or what, that gave that result, but the fact that 2+2 is 4 has in no way been altered by the addition not being observed.
I forget the precise answer WRT frogs, but for instance the Nile was sacred to a god, and making it unclean was an affront to that god. Similarly with frogs, they were in some way that I don't recall symbolic to the religion(s) of the Egyptians and so this plague was an affront to that. Nothing to do with frogs per se except the meaning that was already attached to them.
Of course, and 2 steps west plus two steps north are 2 steps west and 2 north, or 4 steps, much like 2 apples and 2 oranges are 4 "things" or even 4 fruits, but still are 2 apples and 2 oranges, not 4 *apanges* or whatever, so maybe your point was valid, but I don't see 2+2 != 4 anywhere in your example.
Overblown, IMO. First, I have a mix of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Linux boxes. The Win 8 boxes are very easy to use, the Welcome Screen is just a big start menu, and I seldom, even in Win7, ever used the start menu. I really don't remember when the last time was, maybe a few months ago. When I set up a machine, I always, even in Win7, start pinning the apps I use to the task bar. Also, WIN+D...
Seems like you're removing information from the equation and leaving it in the textual explanation, sort of like complaining that adding 20mph to 17years doesn't equal 37.
The Nexus 7 case is curved and some micro usb connectors with extremely fat bodies will not fully insert into the device. Most do however work just fine.
I wonder if all those frames that stored say, John Wayne, could be used to create a fairly good 3D likeness. If not now, maybe soon. Also, who would own the rights to those performances?
There *ARE* more homicides with "hand and other", or blunt weapons, or knives (or, not and) than with rifles of all types, including so-called Assault Weapons (Assault Rifles are not freely available in the USA); it's the people intent of defending their meth territory or knocking over a C-store (as examples) that are the bulk of the violence and those people won't generally want to shell out $1500+ for a Bushmaster and then try to figure out how to carry it concealed to the site of the intended crime. They get a pistol and put it in their pocket. Guess what things like capacity laws do? Encourage the production and sale of small concealable pistols just big enough to be easily concealed and still carry 10 in the mag and one in the pipe. Talk about an unintended consequence.
The real problem is that no one (practically) is gonna steal your PC and then use Linux, the first thing they are gonna do is install windows 7, probably a pirated version, or maybe XP.

If they could float, perhaps it was a witch.
Chapter and verse?
Burn more coal? I fight the same fight regularly, and I can't seem to make any decent progress either.

Windows 8.1 will be a free Microsoft Store update to Windows 8.0

Each Biblical plague was an affront to an Egyptian deity, more or less.
"Their God" was supposed to heal them, not a general statement on all gods AFAICT.

I wouldn't take up sky-diving with that attitude.
Sometimes you just got to get things right the first time.
FTFY - ;)
Well don't download it, buy it from Amazon.
If I needed to create this app I would probably just measure the time spent in freefall/micro-g. No need to get fancy past that right?
454 Casull operates at high pressures.
I question anything that lists Washington DC as the safest place.

Japan has a long history of anti-nuclear movements
Why would that be, I wonder ....
Cars in India drive on both sides of the road, in practice.
