someone at some point in time will come out with something better.. IOS is actually sort of boring platform in my opinion it just has all the apps and the phone is very functional.. There are niches yet to be filled.
After they reinvented the mac and then the iphone/ipod/ipad etc.. Everyone just fellin love with him. Prior to that he was well known dick head. My ex boss told me a story once about some coder that worked for apple and he was in the elevator one day when Jobs walked in. Jobs just looked at him and said "what do you do here?". The coder guy told him more or less and Jobs just said "that doesn't sound very important, your fired" There were a couple other people in the elevator too and it wasn't in jest. He made sure the security saw the guy out.

Seems like we've run out of end of times theories to freak out about. Might as well use this one.. Let's pretend also that it happens Jan 1 2014 at exactly midnight. And that the world will come to an immediate end.
Not even remotely true. Not every linux box is going to have all the same libraries and all the same programs tons of browser tons of email programs etc... The malware will have to be written in the most basic form not depending on ANYTHING.. It's not going to have privileges to create an init script and even if it starts in the user init it will be so simple to get rid of. Killing the program would be as simple as "kill -9 malware"
Not to mention linux has many free firewall apps that would catch it trying to do something on the net.
Hopefully a new era of game dev is upon us. This is not only great for linux, but great for people like myself who only use windows for games. Hopefully the video card makers will beef up their effort writing drivers and software for compatibility.
Sorry. I just love curly braces, semi colons, and liberal use of white space as i see fit =) But I realize now I made a big mistake. Python is way better than JS what was I even thinking.
Maybe it's just me, but there are so many elegant languages they could have gone with. Maybe a JS engine is easy to implement, but the thought of even using it just makes me shiver. It's a recurring problem though. Unity has JS like language too and people are dead set on using it. Oh well. Better that python i guess.
