Have you tried iMesh? I like it better than Napster. You can resume, it will tell you the availibility of the file, it has bitrate support, etc... The only downside of it that I can see is you _HAVE_ to share your files....and that's not really a downside if you are trying to get a service to take off. (who wants to use a service with nothing to download)
They figure if your system has random crashes and you're buying one of those (meaning you usually a consumer), you won't give a rats ass...most of those pieces of junk have random crashes, hangs, reboots, BSODs, etc. because of inadequate CPU cooling.
What is is with Michigan and the Bill of Rights? It seems like every other week there is legislation coming out of that frozen waste that tries to do away with a small part of the Constitution, Bill of Rights etc....I'm glad I live somewhere else....
(Offtopic) The only problem w/that is that teacher is usually a bigger homophobe than the student who was picking on you...I had a couple of lesbian friends in highschool that had this happen to them. They could tell the teachers until they were blue in the face, but nothing would change.
Your right....and it's getting worse by the day...I'm so glad I am not in school anymore. I'm pretty sure if I was, you would be hearing a story on the news about me....
Every/.er needs to go thru an anon. proxy server and show waveamerica.com what the slashdot affect is. Of course, at the same time filling out 2 or 3 false reports....make them loose time & _money_ and it will come to a screeching halt.
I belive it was lost ballots, and I know there were some districts that had more votes than they had reg. voters. And oh yeah...front page of the Florida Times Union...
There were more "lost" votes than that in Duval Co. alone (I wish I had the URL to the newspaper)....it's going to be an interesting 4 years.

You sound like a libertarian! That's a good thing.
There are still a lot of places in the county that all you can get is an (expensive) ISDN. I know, I live in one. They don't have DSL available ANYWHERE in the county I live in (no DSLAMs in the C.O.) and the ISDN services cost about $200 a month. Add that to the fact that AT&T won't be rolling out broadband for another 3-5 years and you can see that Sega won't be doing ANY business here I live. I can see a lot of pissed off rednecks buying this thing at the loal WalMart taking it home and trying to figure out how to put a CD/Cartridge in it....it's going to be great...
...I haven't used Napster in months, why bother being tied down to one pay service when there are so many p2p programs to choose from. Also said p2p programs can let you share more than just Mp3's, i.e. movies, pics, software....and it doesn't stop there.
...if the government dictates what can and can't be shown at a public library, then that makes the government responsable for the content viewed. i.e. if I did see some p0rn at the library, (due to shoddy filtering) and was offended I could hold the government responsable, and maybe sue them. If this holds true then I can see a great way to GET RID of filtering.

p.s. I bet Slashdot is on some of those filtering lists...
If you really have a problem with your freedoms getting trampled, here are 3 sites to visit: http://www.aclu.org; http://www.lp.org; http://harrybrowne2000.org. If it bothers you that much, do something about it in 2004.

Smokin Goat McGruff said "AMD doesn't even have a portable chip. Apple uses a full-power G4 in the new Titanium PowerBooks."
Yes they do. AMD K5-3+ is a moble chip, and they just released a moble version of the Duron.

It IS a sequel (the game, not the engine), and your characters can be imported from BG2 (not BG1)
If this kid can get ahold of the ACLU, he could probably put his teacher thru the wringer.
