They've got an awesome service (Win only, unfortuately) that allows you to sync just about anything (bookmarks, files, contacts, datebook) between any number of devices (including phones, PDA's, PIM Software, and their Web Desktop product).
I disagree. How many times do you see someone standing in public, holding their cell-phone in one hand, with a finger in their other ear so they can hear.
According to the original story on ZDNet (http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/stories/news/0,4586,233 0104,00.html) the Visor will use the rechargable Lithium-Ion battery pack.
Seems that way doesn't it? It'd be nice if they'd start posting a URL with Babelfish included like this.
If that didn't come through, the URL is http://babelfish.altavista.com/cgi-bin/translate?u rltext=http://www.heise.de/newsticker/da ta/ts-22.07.99-000/&lp=de_en&doit=done
All other sources of political power - wealth, pubic support, personal charisma, social standing, organized interest - are weak by comparison. Hee-Hee....
Now that's confusing.....I believe it's erupting a 'plain'.
I worked on some PL/I from '72 a few years ago...still chugging along just fine. (4 years older than me)
I can only assume it's got a standard 2.5" IDE harddrive. Just go to a decent computer parts shop and buy an adapter, it'll cost like $20 bucks.
OTOH: If you want to spend $200, I've got one available.
Dude....it's not worth it.
Please stop chopping off your fingers for the decimal points.
Thanks.
So....you don't believe that the US beholds more to Money than a Diety?
I believe in God, but I feel that my majority in the US is shrinking.
There's a reason we call it the "Almighty Dollar".
FoxNews (foxnews.com) is reporting that they have an eyewitness who said the 2nd plane didn't have windows.
Thank God...it wasn't a fully loaded passenger jet; looked like a 737

Check them out @ fusionone.com
Who cares about the trailer....I've seen the movie!!
It's the funniest movie I've seen since the Toy Story 2 Outtakes.
Gotta do it...
"The year is 10,191..."

Why is this so different?
It's called an eMate.

Ewww!!
Actually, I thought it looked more like the Quake logo! To each his own...

It was based on a William Shatner book from 6-8 years ago. I think there were only about 6 episodes.

Anybody ever watch TekWar? I wasn't wild about the show, but they used discs about the size of a CD single.
I'd prefer something that size...something I can palm, or even drop in a shirt pocket.
Cool!! We slashdotted JPL!

Last I heard, this thing could also double as a DVD player.
@ around $550, this thing would be cheaper than a good game console and DVD player.

This one HAS compact packaging! It's 10% bigger than a Portable CD player.
Looks like it, I wonder if it'll happen?
