Well diversity is what you get with open source, no one suggests eveyone should run just linux, or just bsd, or just exim or just sendmail or whatever.
Point is there are more holes per installation in IIS then in apache 2.0.4 with linux 2.4.24, or other combinations of open source software. Whether this is because of a monogenus attitude or shoddy programming is irelevent
Protesting groups will always find something to moan about, because if the world follwed their advice then they'd be out of a job. First we have fossil fuels, protesters moan, we invent nuclear, protesters moan, we build wind farms, protesters moan, we build tidal power stations, protesters moan. What makes you think they wont complain about solar or fusion?
Of course protesters complain about other protesters. Local people complain about trucks passing through their village, we build a bypass. Then rent-a-protest move in andcomplain about the great swathesof land being taken up. (Even Motorway interchanges and Junctions are mostly fields)
Posting a story to slashdot, which of course had a link from my usename to my website, which of course had a link to my mp3s and movies, which of course was accessed by dozens of people, which of course killed my 256k upload.
Another mistake was typing "apt-get remove libc6", and typing "Yes, I really want to do this".
I@m currently watching Channel 828, which is N8 Output, and 838, N8 Omnibus. I was watching Chanell 260 earlier, News Quad 2, with Reuters, APTN, AP and EVN on. That's just on the ring main, give me a router dest and I can route about 2000 video signals to my screen!
Because democrats would eb able to steamroll anything they wanted through. At least having a different president and congress would make it a little harder for either side to remove liberties (when was the last time that the average american got extra liberty from the government? The civil war?). All men have liberty, all governments take that away. The slower the better.
It would have a big impact, but not in the way you think. Copyright would revert back to whoever originally wrote the code, so an author of some code in the linux kernel could decide to remove it. Microsoft wouldn't be able to embrace and extend though.
Easy way arround. "This resturant sucks*.
;* My personal opinion only".

Yes, microsoft have helpfully emailed the patch to all it's customers, all you need to do is run the program and you'll be safe.
as well as the marketshare argument.
Which falls flat on its face when you compare IIS and Apache
Or blow India up because of Jealousy

Nothing wrong with component, with a good DAC and ADC, and short cable. You'll lose much more quality in the MPEG compression on the DVD.
Might disproove the bible, and the fundies dont want that.
They need something they can rape, divide, and conquer, then you will see a huge increase in space funding.
We need to liberate this primordial ooze from it's oppressive dicatorial amobea.

Even with an intergrated screen chances are the video singal will be something you can use at some point
About 50% of the human race is middlemen, and they don't take kindly to being eliminated.

500 channels? Piddly.
Sometimes, late at night, you may see a darlek if you wander arround the basement of Television Center.
Yeah, the RFC isn't as specific as XML, but gives the principles
Yeah, cause when soem mega-corp owns everything from 2Hz to 2THz, we'll be all better off

So you'll be voting for a republican congress? Afterall surely a democratic congress and president would be just as bad.
So why vote for Kerry on these issues, if Bush is merely a figurehead?
The DMCA, that famous republican bill of 1998.

I dont see how the license would fail though.
We didn't take lager at gun point, and Currys only became popular in the 60's after India's independence. The Balti was invented in brum
Sausage and mashed potato
Couldn't go for the firefly extra, so I get all geared up to win this competition, but I cant enter this either! No fair
:p
Had a great idea for a photo too - an on time train! It's so rare that it's got to be worth saving
I'm as British as apple pi...umm bangers and mash.

Actually traditional british food is a Curry washed down with a Danish lager
