I filter it and the system I have heats it before it goes into the engine. The diesel engine was orginally designed to run off vegtable oil. Read up on it.
The issue with these modded Priuses is that they ruin the batteries draining them in this fashion.
Personally, in my garage I have a car that runs on straight used frying oil which I get free from local resturants. Much cheaper and if I run out of veg oil I can run on diesel:)
No one's creative work "needs" anything. If you don't like what someone has made, then make your own.
Thank You, I am glad the first post (or at least hightest rated first post) contains a element of sanity.
As for Tara's comment about her hating Tomb Raider or GTA that great for her, but plenty of other people like the games the way they are (heck woman even, my wife likes em both). Woman are portrayed in video games like that because it sells games because people would rather see an attractive woman then a mousey fat one.
You are missing the bigger picture in life. And that is that spelling and grammer only matter up to high school unless you are an English major or a Tech writer. Otherwise you get credit for best effort as long as it makes sense.
So grow up, no more gold stars or smily faces for aceing the spelling test buddy.
Seems to always happen on any forum, netgroup, maillist or whatever someone pops up who doesn't like other peoples grammer and decides to provide an inprompto grammer or spelling lesson. Who the hell cares? While grammer is important in formal documents, publications and formal situations (interviews or negotiations). I for one do not think it matter much on the net. As long as your point comes across that is what matters. Only trolls care how it is spelled. But then again I am NOT a grammer Nazi.
I'd be angry too. About how the Forbes article portrayed me as a raving lunatic out for blood, after giving what was probably a thoughtful interview.
Then maybe Theo shouldn't act like a raving lunatic out for blood, splinting projects at the slightest hint of differing opinion. Theo couldn't even keep his mount shut long enough to get his DARPA grant. So when you say they portray him as a lunatic, I reply "he sure as hell acts like one in public". Yes I know he might be a regular guy outside of the programming world, but honestly other then when his baby was born have you ever really seen him post nice things?
Actually the worst part is that Theo is often right, which means you do have to actually listen to him rather than the easier just ignore him.
Reguardless of whether Theo is right or wrong he should not be such an asshat. Honestly have you ever dealt with the guy? If you don't see eye to eye with him he treats you like a giant turd. WTF? This is why it is good to have social skills and to know when to keep your mouth shut and when to open it. Theo from my experiance appears to have niether.
Theo just doesn't work well with others. Which is why we have his own splinter BSD, OpenBSD. Time and time again this guy opens his mouth and says stupid crap and his little band of croonies reassure him that he is great. Too bad he doesn't have another multi-million dollar DARPA grant that could get pulled again.
There are always exceptions, sure some people hold jobs with tattoos, piercings, brandings or whatever. But frankly if you want to be employable the best thing to do is to look as normal as possible. Call me a sell out or say I am wrong, but if you go into an interview looking weird it is a mark against you. Humans are a very visual species and anything that looks different is perceived as different.
As for my experiance, I have worked at companies that required suit and tie (they changed this requirement about 6 years ago) to places that I could go to work in shorts and flip-flops. Reguardless of this when I interview I shave my beard, style my hair and put on a suit and tie. It ALWAYS pays to look good and make a good first impression.
But don't forget that for a small percentage of the time, folks may be looking for a very specific discontinued item that is no longer available through retail outlets, even at the lower original price.
I am aware of the hard to find items being more expensive then the orginal cost. But I was refering to new items still in stores. Try searching for solar panels on eBay, the prices are almost always higher then what you could go to google search for and purchase the exact same panel.
I would argue most online shoppers don't know pricing period, I can't count how many eBay auctions I have seen where the items go for more then retail. Not to mention how many online stores are selling for more then retail.
I have used the PCMCIA Sprint wireless card when I was a consultant and traveled quite a lot. It is ok, I wouldn't quite say it is DSL speed, probably closer to ISDN speed or slightly faster. Certainly a good alternative if you want something faster then dialup. Just make sure you get good wireless signal in your area before you even bother.
Pretty much hit the nail on the head. You don't get overnight stardom, Slashdot and Fark were had move of a cult following being they were really popular (I am talking back in the 90's). Even if you have a really good site or funny strip it is going to take time for people to start hitting regularlly. Regular updates and being entertaining are probably best. So of my faovarite webcomics update everyday of the week.
I drink 10 dollar wine too and you know what, there are a lot of good wines out there between 10 and 20 bucks. I am sure a wine snob would say different and I have had some very nice more expensive bottles of wine (mmmm Lewis Ethan). But frankly it is nicer to have a decent bottle of wine regularly than an expensive one occasionally. I think the same thing applies to music, it is nicer to have more variety then a small quantity.
How do they figure out how much selling games that aren't sold any more is costing companies? If Nintendo was still selling say "Solar Jetman" or "Duckhunt" for the NES then I would understand it could cut into their bottom line. But seeing as they don't how is this calculated?
I worked at a company a couple years ago that had some "security experts" come in and run scans. They ended up totally screwing up a bunch of in house applications. Being the lead System Administrator I got in a meeting with these guys and starting grilling them on security (they were using a tool that used nmap and hey I know nmap;). So I started drilling them and it turned out they new nothing. So I kept hitting em and hitting em (verbally) till management had to pull me off em. I think the company I was working for at the time ended up sueing them;)
Yeah I gotta say, 4 times seems excessive. I have been doing 128k MP3 since the 90's and it is good enough (and those CD's have been in boxes collecting dust for years now. But then again I am not a audiophilem, just like my toons.

Sure it makes hydrogen but it uses something on the order of 4kw. Lets all remember you don't get something for nothing people.
I am really confused about this one, Grandma thinks killing is ok, but sex isn't, glad I am not part of that family.
I think the motive for this is payola.

Yeah he needed the grappling arm cause he couldn't jump, what freaking crappy Bionic Man is that?
Am I missing something here?

How much are you paying now?

Theo=arrogant
What do you do for a living?

This is insanely Orwellian bullcrap.
"Remeber kids keep an eye out for Thought Crime, Big Brother is always watching and you should too!!!"
They are afraid they will lose control, not that it matters much.
I would not doubt it if they were using HYDROGEN. It is cheaper more plentiful and has more lifting power then helium.
Building an audience takes time
