ya well its closer to the true phrase there is a japanese phrase that translates as "pig headed cabbage" does it mean a lot to you as an american? no, say it to a japanese person and youl'l get your winky cut off.
The local CompUSA had a VERY nice Crusoe laptop (actually more of a palmtop as it was the size of one of those wince devices) at about 600mhz with i think 64mb ram, ran msie fine i think it had about a 5 gb drive, it also ran office 2k i believe nicely the only downside was it had a funky resolution and everything came out kind of squished, but it came with a builtin camera kind of cool and the price wasnt too bad either for what came with it. (cant remember off the top of my head tho)
this happened to me as well, the building attached to the place my dad works got torched
we werent fortunate tho
i stuck the hd from the server into another comp and it fried the firmware on the backplane for the scsi thingymabob.
Uhh replayTV is a device not a website
it lets you tape the programs and watch them later (like tivo) the networks won because replaytv lets you skip ads with a simple button push.
I dont need the special features of ext3 for tmp and my tmp dir usually has lots of small files in it (lots! i have a cron that doesnt delete its tmp files)
#1 no it doesnt it corrupts your fs if you write to it
#2 his arguement was that linux didnt support acls
#3 uhh thats not a response
#4 his arguement was thar journalling was bad and ntfs wasnt journaled.
evildead on the kernel mailing list someone reported that "dump" corrupts ext2 in the latest kernel whilst "tar" will not corrupt it so for now tar is the ONLY backup option for ext2
uhhh this has to be a troll
#1 ntfs doesnt work under linux
#2 there are "free" systems that have ACLS (i believe XFS is one such)
#3 ext2 supports encryption i believe
and #4 NTFS is journaled i believe.
I would define the gpl as more of a worm
goes to one system spreads from there looking for more
pacman sounds more like something that selectively targets each software it consumes (ie microsoft) gpl sounds more like something that kind of hits one place then uses that place to expand out even more (sorry not a troll just couldnt come up with any video game refferences)
astraljung wince is just an os you can use to develop for the dc you dont even need to use an os when developing for it i'm making a music player for the dc with absolutely no os just hardware libraries. the os just just provided on the cd.
A couple of things winamp is for x86 windows its even written partly assembler so porting wouldnt be easy they'd have to rewrite it for the sh4 main cpu and the arm cpu it uses for sound #2 this is windows CE not windows 9x/nt which means rewrite it #3 its stripped down windows CE not the real and finally #4 out of the 5 or 6 dc games I own only 1 runs windows CE the dreamcast itself doesnt have windows on it it reqiures the game cd to provide the os and most games use the sega os and some third party free developers make there own os (search for kalistios).
I read somewhere that it will ship with a new broadband enabled web browser cd (I hope it does) if it doesnt oh well quake 3 is twice as fun as any ole website.
Why would the ip stack be windows98? Its not like the dreamcast runs windows does the ethernet card require windows to be installed or something? last I checked out of my 5 games I own only 1 has windowsCE on it and that one doesnt support even dialup modem much less broadband wheres this windows coming from? ohhhh your one of those people who believe the compatible with windows label on the dreamcast means it runs windows well last I checked I didnt need any windows libraries/stuff to compile/link dc applicaitons just need a sh4-elf and arm-elf compiler.
Now that I think of it my friend has a comadore 64 with original box (sort of a game system) and it has support for a modem course thats more like a speaker/mic combo that you lay a phone on.
510 gbytes per month...
sounds like a good deal to me

actually uhh that looks more like "where there is no accusation, there is no judgement"
the unencrypted bytes are heaver, they have to request more secret quantum computers from the fbi in order to decrypt those.

anyone know where i could pickup a cheap dev kit for one of these that i could just throw in my comp and mess around with?
just a note to everyone... the time is in PST not EST or CST
for EST its 3:00 am for CST its 2:00 am.

C version
FaithInHumanity--;
VB version
Dim person as stupid
FaithInHumanity = FaithInHumanity - 1

My fstab looks something like this (nonrelevant parts snipped) /glftpd/site ext3
/dev/hda3 / ext3
/dev/hda2 swap swap
/dev/hdb1
/dev/hda1/ / tmp reiserfs

Why are they able to ask for this back... I thought when a company or person went bankrupt they gave up all rights to theyre financual assets?

Then you'd have to have the broadband adaptor pipe some stuff over to the main cpu to emulate itself thus slowing down games a bit.

Uhh no. They were taking pre-orders then now there selling them for real.
