  1. Re:Sooooo..... on Three New Releases (And Other News) From Mozilla · · Score: 1

Run Mozilla with the -profilemanager switch and you can choose where to put settings for a new profile.

As for "MSIE javascript", Mozilla will attempt to run JavaScript as long as it is clear what the developer intends. The most common example is that you must use "getElementById(element)" instead of merely "element" in JavaScript in Mozilla. This is because if you just use "element", Mozilla doesn't know if you mean ID "element", class "element", or name "element".

There are many discussions like this on netscape.public.mozilla.wishlist.

Yes, I know four months isn't terribly long, but the police had people analyze the data on the computers in the first couple weeks (there was a ResNet guy with them when they served their warrants--I'm sure he helped them analyze the data). And the police were given the root passwords to the computers they seized when the warrants were served.

As for "double police systems", consider the fact that at every OSU football game there is a collection of Ohio State Highway Patrolmen, Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies, Columbus Police, and University Police. I don't know how they decide who does what. Also, the OSU Police Department actually has detectives (one of whom was running the hub case).

That is good news for SVG adoption in general, as it means that Konqueror 3.2 will likely have native SVG-with-animation support. Finally, an out-of-the-box fully-SVG-enabled browser other than IE-with-Adobe. :-) It's also quite likely that once the KHTML integration is complete, it will end up in Safari as well, which is good for everyone.
I hope that Mozilla will catch up to Konqueror then. There are experimental Mozilla builds with SVG enabled, but I believe there's only one developer, so progress is slow.
