Granted the rest of the info could be false, but that would mean they're deliberately leaking troops' personal info which could be putting their families at home in some real danger.

Recall the thwarted new year's bombing attempt on LAX by Al Qaeda during the millennium? While their successful attacks have previously only happened on routine days they have often targeted high profile days and events in the past.

Al Qaeda has a history of retrying hits and methods until they work, before their attack on 9/11 they had previously attempted to twice hijack and use airlines as flying bombs but were thwarted at some point before reaching their final target and I'm sure everyone recalls their original partially unsuccessful (they wanted to bring the building down) 1993 attack on the World Trade Center.

You really really don't want to totally defeat this protein, IL-4 in its normal role regulates cell-mediated response like swelling at the site of an infection. If you didn't have IL-4 the swelling would just get bigger and bigger until you just ripped open, not a good thing. What you'd want to do is regulate the amount of IL-4 in your system which you can do already by having a ready supply of Vitamin E which inhibits the production of IL-4 in your system without totally defeating it.
