I want a 326k download on my phone!! Although I must admit driving and watching my cell phone won't be great for my driving record. ^_^
Although it will be a great watching the Fifth Element during my Political Science class. Hmmm... This applys to government... By having government in it. ^_^
I still remember when I first recieved my first copy of Shareware Doom/Wolfenstein, I sucked horribly at both of them. But man they were cool for the day. I still remember trying to find all the Nazi's and not die. Man that was a challenge. I still remember trying to figure out how to connect to my friends computer many years later to play Quake. Man, where have the good ol days gone?
'President Bush, sticking to his cautious sing-song monotone, fled to various bunkers and seemed to shrink throughout the day, [and then] Bush got on his best suit and stuck to the prompter.'
I'm going to have to agree with Katz that Bush really didn't set an example that I feel is true for Americans. However, I have to wonder what any of us would do if we where in President Bush's shoes? I couldn't honestly answer that question.
I would like to think that I could be as brave as Mayor Guiliani, but I really might be as cowardly as Bush. Now I am not supporting Bush's actions of hiding out in his bunkers gathering information, and making small comments to the American people. Let's take a second and think.
'Would I put myself in the line of fire? Or would I run and hide?' A tough choice to make, I would hope most of us do not follow Bush's lead, and that we follow Mayor Guiliani's actions.
Well I'm glad that slashdot posted thist, mostly because I didn't know it exsisted before. I am also bemused that Slashdot managed to destroy the server. Bravo guys! I was hoping to post a review of the movie but it seems that I'll just have to wait for it to come back up, or go find a copy of it myself. ^_^
I have to agree, the anime DVD market is ripe for the picking. For instance I am starting an anime club at my commmunity college. One thing we will be purchasing is anime on DVD. Mostly because you get the widest variety of options to play with.
Example: The Akira DVD came with a capsule option. For those who don't know what that is, it's a capsule that comes up at the bottom of the screen that you can click and it will translate parts of the Japanese writing. Now, for those who have seen Akira it translates to a pretty nice feature. It'll help one to understand the story's progress.
On another note if Disney is going to market Miyazaki's movies they have to do it right, and stop complaing about how it doesn't sell right. Shoot for a mass-viewing. Showing it to just artsy theaters isn't going to get the press needed. I never even really heard of Princess Mononoke until I found it on my TIVO. How much does that show Disney and there marketing plan?
I was thinking, wouldn't it make more since to make it similar to a keyboard layout? For those of us who actually have that type of keyboard layout memorized? It pretty much means any computer user will need to move back and forth between the two layouts. It would decrease my typing time tremendiously.
Well we could always run down and beat them with pitch forks and make them put it out by Summer of 2002 that way we don't have to wait as long. ^_^ Then again I'd hate to see some of us in cover alls and no shirts on...::shudders at the thought::
I can't wait until Code Red 76. I heard this version will wash your car, take your pet for a walk, reformat any version of Linux and install Windows over it, all in it's first 30 nanoseconds of birth. Personally I look forward to it. God knows it was created by the Borg known as Microsoft. ^_^
Personally, I thought Titan AE ruled. Now most of you might think I'm some 10 year old with a room temperature IQ but actually I'm 16 and have seen a ton of animation. Including Anime and most Disney flicks (Don't ask, about the Disney flicks... I think it was because nothing else was on.) I was intrigued with the story line. I mean, it has been done before... In fact its been done so many times that I am sick of it. The characters I found intresting though, and the animation was wonderful. Sure, it can't compete with X-Men. Hell, I can't say much can, but considering all the other movies I've seen this summer, on the animation side, it beats out Chicken Run in story. That's just my opinon though. -Arthur William Drahnaus
The thing takes forever to load; one might consider posting an adendum to the Acrobat post on how to liposuction Acrobat.

Just trying to help. ^_^
