    Linux itself is no longer essential: the GNU system became popular in conjunction with Linux, but today it also runs with two BSD kernels and the GNU kernel. Our community cannot be defeated by this.


    the kernel is still essential due to the high level of hardware support.. but hopefully if something would happen, the drivers get ported to other kernels..

    For great justice, the GNU must survive!

    well of course.. I dont think anybody knew how to inject adrenalin into somebodys heart and give them electroshocks back then... :)

    but saying something can't be like this or can't be like that without proof showing either doesn't add up to expanding oneselves knowledge..

    been playing with something like this myself..
    I found a few nice boxes.. but since i want to put in a few cards (bt848,dvb-c,dvb-t,cmpci soundcard,geforce graphics) a matx motherboard isn't enough.. so I gave up and am now using a slighly modded rackmount case :)

    btw.. the site seems getting slashdotted.. anyone care to put up a mirror?

    Are you planning to be bought by microsoft?

    the whole affair seems to be planned by someone pro-microsoft.. if you win well then you got your mighty bucks.. but if you loose.. you can allways sell the company and your IP to another corporation with a lot of cash and a grudge againt open source and let them have a try..

    I wonder how much lobbying there is behind this lawsuit?

    just wanted to point out that some of the games you just listed does work under Linux.. at least if you're running winex..

    I can run enough games to be satisfied myself..

    aven if I turn my phone of on the it automatically phone turns it self on at 6 am with a large disturbing noise I hardly get any sleep.. luckily the someone assigned the snooze function to most of the buttons..
