Network effects count for a lot too. I wouldn't inflict a Linux desktop on my family. My dad is a programmer and my mom only uses a browser. But, no one that either of them talk to use Linux. Figuring out how to do stuff requires googling because no one they know (besides me) would have any ideas. Hardware compatibility becomes a concern instead of an after-thought. Most software that mimics what they (well, mostly my father) would use is much less polished than what he would find on Windows.
Also, the reason why the Windows version of any offering will be as cheap or cheaper than the Linux is because OEM Windows comes preloaded with a lot of crap that companies pay the OEM to include. Linux doesn't have this, thus it actually costs more to load Linux than it does Windows, even including the Windows license.
I want public smoking banned because I absolutely hate the smell. I doubt the health risks are anywhere near as great as some would make out, but I don't see why smokers have a right to inflict themselves on others.
There's no reason to ban drunk-driving per se. Just treat the result as what it is, premeditated murder or assault or vandalism, depending on the accident's result. If no accident takes place, good for everyone.
Office was, is, and likely will always remain optional. That has nothing to do with it.
Of course, you're just spreading FUD by insinuating that MS is "cheating" with MSE. Symantic's AV has always sucked. McAfee for that matter, at least their Windows versions.
They know exactly how. Why do you think Windows Phone 7 uses a curated app store, and why do you think they are pushing to do the same for Windows 8? Copying Apple is only part of the story. Ultimately, even a mainframe is vulnerable if the user is allowed to install anything they want.
Foxconn will build whatever companies pay them to build. Many other American computer "manufacturers" use them already. I would be surprised if they don't already assemble Android handsets. Or, to put it another way, implying that Foxconn is somehow tied to Apple is ridiculous.
Java did not, last time I checked, abstract away the inability to delete a file that is open on Windows. Thus, file-handling is definitely different. There are other differences in buffering, but those can be accommodated with common code.
You will be able to play by yourself, but you will need to be connected to b.net. There will be no local storage of characters. It will be free-to-play. You will be "stuck" on b.net.
It's already been mentioned numerous times that it's Mbps, not MBps. Also, Blueray video is compressed, and relatively low resolution compared to what the drones are sending back.
Advertising is priced based on the expected number of viewers. Numbers are connected via the Nielsen boxes or the cable companies collecting data from their cable boxes. Either way, there must be an assumption on the number of people watching that display. So 2 people watching 5 TVs (connected to separate input streams) will look like at least 5 viewers, whereas 10 people watching 1 TV may only look like one viewer.
Here's the problem. You are living in a world of theory. My GP is living in this world. Most GPL software has no money behind it. Trying to use SOPA against Sony or Disney will fail completely if they "borrow" some code off of github. They wouldn't go against IBM or Google, but they will feel no compunction against violating copyright of some dinky little project on github or sourceforge. Remember, laws are not enforced those who bought the laws.
Both MS and Apple have been repeatedly investigated by the EU. MS has had a trial in the US (which they lost). Apple was investigated a time or two, but not so much for monopoly practices (which is reasonable, given that they don't have one). Just because SK hasn't done so (and I don't know they haven't), means nothing. Governments rarely bother investigating trade practices of any corporation unless someone complains.
When it comes to Linux, fragmentation is inevitable. If you can't accept that, you are the one with a problem.

I think a 737 would have no trouble completely demolishing my shed. If I had a shed.
The 911 planes didn't completely pulverize anything.

So basically, you never caught anything worth worrying over, and you're OK with that. This attitude is what gives Geek Squad a (deservedly) bad name.

Getting bought out is one of the methods of "not surviving". Doesn't matter if you're T-Mobile or Kodak.
And 100% of your comment is irrelevant.
Android, with a UI from this century, did not exist before iOS.
Don't expect much from those that hate irrationally.

What you wrote has nothing to do with the title, summary, nor article. Congratulations for displaying your illiteracy.
What answers have been changed?

50 mbit per video feed. No drone has only one feed.

and in the original Hebrew "period of time" is translated to "day" in the modern texts
The term used in the creation story (Genesis), Yom, is the Hebrew word for day. Translating it as "day" is perfectly accurate.
Close. The DMCA is designed to abuse. The system is not being abused. It is specifically designed for this kind of purpose.

That was pretty simple. Writing up the process took me at least an order of magnitude more time.
And they will win. Have fun.
