    The Palestinians aren't interested in peace (either). They are going this route because their aim is to get rid of Israel -- not make peace with it. Of course it's a total laugh. If they are declared a sovereign state, Israel will carpet bomb the entire place into flaming rubble the first time a mortar is fired into the Negev, which will trigger World War III.

    The elected government of Gaza routinely fires mortars indiscriminately into civilian population centers. That may not be terrorism (though it is certainly terrifying to the victims), but it is illegal according to international law. Funny how no one ever takes them to task for it in the media.

    If that sounds like DRM to you, then all can think about is DRM. That's no one's fault but your own.

    On the flip-side, this might be a form of DRM, but it's the good kind. It's the kind that says that when you delete a photo from Facebook, it's actually deleted.

    Patents restrict specific implementations of a specific functions. That is exactly the problem with software patents -- they are used to restrict all implementations.

    Quitting soda (and everything else with HFCS) was so easy for me. I used to drink 2 or more liters a day, and I stopped almost cold-turkey. I don't remember any headaches resulting from it. I think it took me about a month.

    .Net is not a programming language. Two of the most popular languages used with .Net are C# and VB.Net. C# is new with .Net and is still around. VB.Net is an evolution of Visual Basic, which has existed prior to Windows 3.0. (I don't know exactly how old it is, but VB 1.0 was in text mode, and created apps for the then-current version of Windows.)
