    If your boss doesn't have a cellular plan for his iPad, why doesn't he turn off the cellular radio? For that matter, why did he buy a 3G-capable model? Really, I almost pity you for working for someone so stupid.

    Even at a 1 to 1 exchange rate from dollars to euros, a brand new Mac for iOS development doesn't cost a 1000. Why do so many people here have so much hatred that they have to blatantly and obviously lie to make their point?

    I can't fathom why you would pay $1000 for a Mac just for iDevice development. At most, you need spend 70% of that amount, and you could always buy used and spend even less.

    The cheapest Mac is $599. Add in a mouse, keyboard and monitor, and you're looking at about another $100. Claiming you have to spend a grand on a Mac is just ridiculous.

    And I do my iDevice development on a 2005 Macbook, so claiming that you need more power than exists in a Mac Mini is just lying.

    You must pay $99 to be able to load apps onto an iDevice with XCode. If you want to do it for free, you have to jailbreak. If you download XCode and write an app, you are limited to the simulator unless you pay.

    You don't understand statistics. The vast (well over 99.999999999999999%) majority of couples in which one spouse refers to the other as "hubby" are a man and a woman. That gay couples exist is entirely an outlier and contributes to the error rate, but not significantly.

    Basically you're trying to say that because a one in several million example exists, that the entire statistical model is crap.

    Similarly, men and women use language differently. There's nothing to suggest that there is a forum in which this is not true. Just because you don't use the same language in different forums does not mean that you sound like a different gender in different forums. It just means that context is important when determining which language sounds male and which sounds female.

    It's nothing at all like Office file formats.

    And data is not copyrightable, which is why the data in the phone book is (legally) copyable. It is true that the data Google collects is also not copyrightable, but that doesn't mean Google has to give it to anyone. (The phone book is distributed to subscribers.)

    Those who modded you up are idiots, and so are you. The summary explains that the app already exists and is a web app. He's only looking for a way to make it self-contained so it can be hosted on the client.

    Physically, teenagers are adults (biologically able to procreate). Two hundred years ago teenage sex was just something that happened and wasn't talked about. Assuming the teenagers in question weren't already married. There's nothing more disgusting about teenage porn than adult porn, except the very modern idea that children are not adults until some arbitrary law says so.

    On a related note: teach responsibility and suggest abstinence. Teaching abstinence and hoping for responsibility doesn't work.

    It's only inefficient because the law makes it so. As any murderer can tell you, it's ridiculously cheap to kill someone. When a dog who has been trained to attack kills someone, it's put down. Why don't we do the same for humans who have far more control over their training and actions?

    If a 9 year old murders another (or anyone), that 9 year old should be immediately put to death. There is no justice in allowing a murderer to live. There is no benefit to society. And not only should the murderer die, but everyone responsible for teaching him proper behavior and respect for life should also be killed.

    Western society places no value on life. That's how you get 9 year old murderers in the first place.

    It makes you a moron. If you don't have kids, why the fuck do you care about population growth? It's not going to affect you, and you don't have any progeny, so let the world blow itself up in a 100 years. Why does it bother you at all?

    Or it's possible that you're just extremely selfish and want the world to last just long enough for you to pleasure yourself. Either way, make it simple and kill yourself off.

    Practicality. If the entire spectrum were free-for-all, it would all be virtually useless except for directional or very short-distance links. Also, it more legitimately falls under the ICC.
