Socialism is providing basic services with public money. Communism is government (really community) ownership of property, including means of production (companies).
I consider it immoral to follow copyright law, so I don't care what term is used to describe the practice of violating it.
If something I want to have a copy of is readily available through reasonable terms from a seller, I will pay. Otherwise, I will simply take it from where I can find it.
Abolishing the death penalty does nothing but remove justice. It shows that the victim has fewer rights than the perpetrator and that punishments are meaningless.
The difference is that the British actually respect the Queen. Who the hell could respect a king who feels so insecure that he requires a law to get any?
Maybe it's because Linux programmers don't know what "source-level compatibility" is and he wants to be able to run Linux programs without fixing other people's code.
To this day, no Linux GUI has proper copy+paste. That alone is a deal-breaker for me.
That's essentially the same process as in the US. You cannot ask the Supreme Court to try a law. You must instead appeal a specific case up through the system on the grounds that the law upon which the defendant was tried is actually unconstitutional.
I just figure it's a moral issue. The only reason Copyright is mentioned in the Constitution of the United States is because without it there would have been less of a chance for the newly founded country to build its own culture. However, corporations have turned Copyright into a method for perpetual ownership. As this is not what was intended, I feel no moral obligation to support them.
I do not go out of my way to obtain what I want for free, but I also do not feel I am doing anything wrong when I do.
I really don't think the Queen of England would have to worry much about a US law. I imagine that even while visiting the US she has diplomatic immunity the likes of which are only depicted in the movies.
Many towers are placed on private property and the phone/cellular company pays for that access. I imagine that they also pay the municipality that owns any public land that they use as well.
I think it's more disturbing that you think females past the age of puberty are somehow not sexual beings and that having a sexual interest is somehow unnatural and wrong.

Please don't confuse the two.

Why not? What's so special about the idea of non-governmental corporations that makes them preferable?
Because scientific experiments are repeatable; you can repeat experiments 10,000 years later and achieve exactly the same results
How do you know that? I think you're taking it on faith that this is true.
Umm, we have a one party system in the US. It just has two subsidiaries to promote the illusion of competition.
You are the most stupid poster I have across lately.
Wow. Could you be more wrong?

Anyone who loves a king that has made it illegal to not love him is a fucking piece of shit and deserves to be wiped off the face of the Earth.
Piracy is ethically no different from a mob looting a store whose locks were broken.
Modern copyright law is no more moral than shooting someone after you've beaten them to death.
I don't know where you live, but in the US, the leaders do pick the candidates.
One at a time?

Both purchased. Not sure you have anything there.
I'm trying to think of a configuration option that can't be set or changed from the command-line. Nothing comes to mind.
There's a huge difference between using gmail as a private address and a company using it for all corporate communications.

You are unable to distinguish between morals and laws. It's no wonder you come across as a complete idiot.
Christianity has morals?

I'd have to agree. Anyone who thinks debt is capital probably doesn't have a firm grasp on reality.
