Basically, the 'lens' was an infared filter, and if the person had thin clothing, it kinda sorta allowed you to see an impression of what was underneath (nipples tend to be cooler, so they sometimes stand out a bit in such a photo, etc) but it did not actually remove the image of the clothing. kind of looks like a superimposed image of the person nude. Oh, and the same effect can be gotten by playing with your standard infared film, filters etc. on most any camera, it just happened to be easily available for that one.

    anyway...now back too something interesting!

Oh and just for the record, the microsoft style of cut-and-paste seems to work fine in KDE, with the exception that for some applications, nothing can be highlighted in between the cut and the paste. It is my understanding that this is a problem with the way the app is handling the clipboard, and that correct usage would make that problem go away

size: at my settings, I get about 157 megs per hour, but I should really up that, maybe even double it.

pvr standards: all the boxes like replay and ivo use different standards, most which can't be played back on a computer, at present

source: everywhere--probably the most common is IRC, but personally, I can't get crap off there. gnutella and fastrack clients seem to work well for me, and also winMX. And most people find my stuff by searching the web and seeing what I have available.

I mean that things listed on shoutcast, etc. are just an individually run site, and usually have relativly few listeners, compared to the number of people using the directory listing. So they have that many fewer listeners--I know that even the most popular shoutcast sites only have a few hundred listeners at a time, so they will only be paying a few dollars or so. I am trying to say that they are not rebroadcasters(with caveats about live365), they are instead a yellow pages of sites doing a broadcast.

hopefully some of that made sense? it's getting late

I know streams on shoutcast (and I believe live365) are individually run, that happen to be listed on those sites. They are more like a directory of radio stations than anything else. So this would not effect them. I could be wrong with live365 (do they rebroadcast the stream?--memory fails...) Regardless the argument still applies for anyone else
