If they're offering, stay awat. I's only a matter of time 'til your access is limited to websites about Lacan and Foucault and about how truth is an expression of patriarchal repression, or some suicidal such.
Just grab a pizza at the colatina exit, and move on to safer climes.
Born in Leicester. USAF Dad, Irish Mother. Raised mostly in the West of Ireland (but also in France, Germany, UK, Ireland, and U.S.), gaelic speaker, love the English, and the Irish, ex-US-military.
And I'm not unique. In fact, I'll bet you'll find that a majority if the U.S. troops in the field today have a personal family history that goes back to Central America, Vietnam, and beyond.
In other words, the U.S. soldiers of today are the Tommys of yesteryear.
I recently bought her a laptop. Mostly so she could surf/work while watching Oprah.
This has been working well enough, but recently she asked how difficult it would be to combine things so she could watch TV and surf/work on the same screen.
I went looking, and came across mini-itx boards.
Then I found the Leadtek TV2000 (http://www.leadtek.com.tw/www/Web_Leadtek/multime dia/TV2000_XP/TV2000-XP-deluxe.asp)
You know, it's starting to look like I could have a little networked entertainment/work server with IR interfaces for kb/mouse/channel changer.
Now I need that 32" LCD screen to get cheap (oh, and available).
Forgetting the fact that straightening up Afghanistan is a different task from straightening up Iraq, can I just ask when was the last time the U.S. Government had captives shot in the head, filmed by Al Jezeera, and broadcast the film without warning to families and loved ones?
Let me think now. America's most left-wing collection of high-school graduates gets together to stroke its collective dick, and in the middle of all the self-congratulation a dumbass hard-left scumbag gets less than a standing ovation.
I just spent three weeks in Europe, where I learned that the BBC truly is the Baghdad Broadcasting Corporation. I mean, everything wrong in the world was attributed to the prospect of American "aggression" against Iraq.
Now the Internet is slow because of American "agression" against Iraq?!?!!?
When I was in the USAF I worked with a guy who'd changed his name to "Vega Epsilon Altair." When I knew him he was a SSgt, but still living in the dorms.
Since then I've had all kinds of jobs, involving both hardware and software development. Currently I write Java code for food.
The one certainty in all my jobs was change. I didn't except C to last, nor C++, and I don't expect Java to last either. The first time I saw a Valid SCALDSystem, I knew my days of soldering TTL chips together were numbered.
Today on the way to work I heard a news blurb about how Delta is changing its pension scheme. Basically, it places a greater premium on continuing to exist than it does on maintaining a pension status quo. In the long term Delta will survive and the employees will have to live with lowered expectations. That's just the way the world is.
So, all you can do is look for the next big thing, grab as much as you can where you are now (training, money, benefits, experience), and jump when something better comes along.
Oh, and don't forget to save a few pennies for a rainy day. Remember: you're on your own.
...please coat yourself in latex.

You get it right first time, so why bother changing?

So please, quit with the snotty Brit attitude.

Try this:

and you'll see exactly why Microsoft wants to buy google!
...and she's a marketer.
She does so to get a little street credibility with geeks.
My point? If the marketers are going to software like this to get a marketing edge, then there is a chance Ellison is right.
...then it'll finally own the only decent way to navigate microsoft's own website
...the 480 RTG.
God bless all at Langley.

What Mr. Jackson was doing before he got interested in Hobbits.

Hmmm. Sounds to me like a win for normal America.
Thank God!
he also got dragged off stage by union goons.
subject line says it all

An odd character, to be sure.
Cynthia, once the cutest little commie in Congress, got a section of GA-10 named after herself.
She was voted out of office soon afterwards.
It's been nagging at me all day, and I just remembered where I'd seen something like this before.
It's "Hive" from Aplese. Here's the URL:

...are belong to us!
So, what's the U.S. Government going to do when all your telemarketing calls start coming in from China?
You know, like all the spam.
I was at OOPSLA and attended lectures by a number of people from MicroSoft. I even saw Bill's keynote.
In general, the MicroSoft techies know their stuff and are confident. I'd definitely listen to one of them speak.
On the other hand, if the people showing up are in any way marketers, I'd not be bothered listening to them.
Xanadu just became reality!
I got a degree in Physics.

I mean, M$ has this history of embrace and extend in technology, and embrace and nuke in corporate relationships.
