  1. Re:What Another? on Warner Brothers Announce The Matrix: Special Edit · · Score: 3, Funny

Well the next thing i bet they try is Matrix by subscription. For 4 easy payments $19.95 you will get a extra 15 mins a month for 12 months or untill they run out of footage which ever comes first. It sounds silly but they are willing to try anything these days to make a buck

What is it with this footage manipulation crap everybody is doing? i mean just release the film in its entirety and stop holding out on us. Im starting to feel like im being taken by a realy sick and masive bait and switch scam. I can see haveing a directors cut but this is getting out of hand

  8. Re:I love Mandrake on Mandrake 7.2 Beta (Ulysses) Released · · Score: 1

Yes! Finaly some one with a clue! This is what i have been saying all along about the diferences of distros is that there is no best distro, they are all good for the user thay were made for. while security and stability are good things we can not forget about the intended audiance. Linux has a long way to go before it will be excepted onto the avaerage users desktop. If you want to see it take over M$ market share you jave to have distros that offer the same look and feel of the product it is to replace and are mopre geared to the avaerage user. a home user does not care for many server type things and is not usualy concerened with security. they inly wish to play games, type letters and send email and brows the web. if Mandrake can create a distro that is cutting edge and geared for this type of user they will be sucesfull. and will do the Linux comunity a great service.
