I'm glad we're moving away from the CRT Tube! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go get some $$ from the ATM Machine so I can buy a new CPU Unit for my computer.
My point being, has this Paco guy ever seen Apple's products? I think all they need to do is get people to come into the store in order to sell stuff. Granted, this doesen't mean you want crack vials lying on the floor or something, but you get my drift.
Hey, don't go knocking the crack-vials-on-the-floor technique! I'm sure it would at least increase traffic through the store:P
Consumer grade solar panels can be had for little less atmosphere on the moon, they will be more effecient (more watts/m^2)
that should be: Consumer grade solar panels can be had for less then $4/watt, packaged and everything. since there is a little less atmosphere on the moon, they will be more effecient (more watts/m^2)
De La Soul - first rap group involved in sample-litigation for a sample they used from some Turtles (I think) song. Top 40 R&B Rap today is very canned, and rarely self-referential.. producers today obscure source samples as to not get caught using them, or create much of their sound from the ground up. Not that theres anything wrong with it, but De La ended up being the poster child for a persecuted movement in the progression of music. (Interested parties may also note that classical music greats would 'borrow' 3 or 4 bar melodies from each other verbatim.. what De La Soul got sued for has been happening, safely and positively, between musicians for centuries. Too bad the lawyers dont get it.)
Sweet. I knew they had to be cool when I saw them on the Apple Switch ads, but I didnt know they were copyrightninjas as well as macninjas. I'll have to check them out.
Yeah, its a good thing all that DRM is keeping them from making CD players that play mp3s, digital video cameras that you can transfer video on and off digitally, any kind of computer that can play non-protected media, etc etc. I for one am glad that they only use WMA in their cd players! I'll keep buying the crippled computers they sell that wont play MP3's.
The car battery can easily handle 600 amps for a few seconds while starting your car. There's no way the laptop battry can handle 80 amps even for a fraction of a second
Depends on the chemistry. an old NiCd laptop battery could probably put that out (short-circuit current) I agree about this battery however. I wonder how many Librarys Of Congress you could transfer per charge.
RFIDs have been covertly used and sold by TI for over ten years are in many many products... and now your tires are being read by the us gov as you drive at speeds of up to 100 Mph on primary US interstate corridors. (Actually 160 km/h)
Blockbuster does have a pretty big anime section, at least the one near me. They even have "Golden Boy" there! Also the complete cowboy bebop series, complete evangelion, and a lot more. About half a shelf is dedicated to it
System/7/, as in 7.0.0, will only run on 68k. You need (iirc, its been a while) 7.1.2P or higher for PPC. You're still right about fat binarys for 68k/ppc

It smelled like a skunk crawled up another skunk's urethra, set itself on fire and gave birth to another skunk.
I've just found my new sig! Thanks!
Amen. SCSIProbe is a saviour if you deal with scsi on macs. I can still remember the blinking "Bus not terminated" messages... ah the memories...
I'm sorry, what was that? I could'nt hear you over my trinitron TV exploding into a puff of logic.
Remember: If you make money off of open-source, the terrorists have already won
