The key here is that was not "undisclosed to the software developer".

As to others, it was disclosed before there were actual live working attacks.

I've been involved in several software vulnerability disclosures. Non of these I would consider a Zero day. For example, disclosing a problem with major banking site... This was after 6 months of them ignoring me.

I've seen no claims that it "could be far more efficient" than natural gas power plants. Current combined cycle natural gas power plants (turbine and steam heat recovery) get near 60%. Meanwhile, fuel cells, along with consumer grade natural gas power units are around 30% efficient in practice. I've heard no specific claims of their efficiency, but I don't imagine that it's over 60%. While it would be a great improvement on home fired units, it's by no means revolutionary. In fact, the complete lack of data they showed is a huge red flag, and I won't even be trusting their claims until they are independently verified.

Even if the laptop is stolen, it doesn't necessarily give you authority to monitor someone's personal life. (maybe the laptop was resold to an innocent 3rd party?) PA actually has the strictest anti audio surveillance laws in the country. Absolutely no recording of audio with out everyone's permission... Though, I'm guessing it was made before video cameras were everywhere.

I came here to say just that. There is a lot of javascript / dhtml sites that use it. There was an advanced html 5 image editor, that was shown as an example of why you don't need flash. The thing is, it just doesn't work well on iphone. Touch and drag on the iphone tries to move the page, it doesn't allow lines drawn or drag and drop things to be moved. Until there is a way to "page lock" or other solution so that drag works, many functions on the iphone or any touch device will not work.
