They also did a lot of the same affects and "camera" work in Babylon 5.
From what I understand Babylon 5 pioneered (well maybe that is too strong of a word, but...) actually displaying space ships as space ships and NOT as AIRPLANES in space (like Star Trek and Star Wars). I know that it has been done before (2001), but in a tv series, it was a "leap" that some thought to be cutting edge. Actually, forcing, viewers to see space flight as we understand it to be, not airplanes in space, but vectored thrust.
Pretty cool stuff. I like the focus on displaying the vector jets firing and moving the ships. Also, the camera work in space is really good too.
When one views SciFi there is a certain level of disbelief that one must take to view it.

I bet you're the type that gets bent out of shape with Star Trek (any of them), Babylon 5 (the BEST), Stargate (SG1, Atlantis), etc. They ALL have something that does not "work" with our current understanding of the nature of the universe.
I happen to like this new version of BG, and hope that it works out, in terms of quality. I hope they don't beat us over the head with religion or whatever, like the original series did (Battlestar Galactica a.k.a. Mormons IN SPACE)...
Aside from that either get over it or don't watch.

I agree. I actually enjoyed the information portrayed in the prequels. I enjoyed some of the "new" things we learned about the Jedi, the galaxy before the empire, etc. I think the movies were too fast and hopefully the DVD's will have the cut bits that will make the movie even more enjoyable. SideNote: LOTR:ROTK is MUCH, MUCH better in it's extended form. I was bored in the movies watching ROTK with Sam crying all the freaking time. Then, I saw the extended version (Yule gift), boy was that a GREAT movie.
I am not a "fanboy". I don't study all aspects of the movies I watch to find errors with the plot line, story or universe of the story.

In addition, I find Paintshop Pro to be very easy to use, the Corel products less, and Photoshop is TERRIBLE to use. I just assume the art/graphical design types LOVE it that way and I simply stick with PaintShop. It's a free country, so far anyway.
Sad thing is it got the attention of/. which gives it noteriety.

The problem is that my disgust and disappointment with the election have caused me to be very angry.
My _fear_ is that now that the republicans have the majority in the house, senate and presidency the Patriot Act WILL get revitalized.
Traitor in the white house??? Let me think... A President that LIE's to get us into a WAR is FAR more of a problem then lying about a blow job.
A president that flaunts morality but then turns around and lies to get us into a war that KILLS Americans and non-terrorist Iraqi's, lacks FAR more integrity then a person who THINKS about where he was (Vietnam) and what he was doing, then, DECIDES to change his mind. THAT shows intellect, compassion and wisdom. Which are three of the qualities of a REAL leader.
"We can't allow terrorists to hide behind our Constitution, it isn't a suicide pack after all!"
The POINT I was making is this.
Yes the Patriot Act is useful to root out terrorists... BUT It is human nature for people in power to take advantage of their position USE this against citizens, non-terrorists and politcal groups that speak out against the government as well (i.e. J. Edgar Hoover or for that matter, Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rice, etc.).
My concern is that it WILL be revitalized and WILL be used in TIME to slowly change America in Orwellian Fashion. It is obvious that MOST would NOT notice.
"Once the avalanche has started it is too late for the pebbles to vote" "They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security"
Look to the future when all the "hub-bub" has died down and people aren't paying attention, people in power will USE the power that is in there and start taking advantage of it.
Oh and I can hear people saying... The American people won't put up with that...
To those people I say BULL FREAKING SHIT!!! Look at this election. It is obvious that 51% percent of the people in this country don't care about the FACTs enough to vote for this ASSHOLE (George Duhbya Bush) again...
Those people... Those "(D)Uhmerkans", 51% percent, are like the SHEEP in Orwell's Animal Farm. You just keep listening to those pigs. Let them keep subtly changing the rules and you just keep rolling over and taking like good little sheep. You probably let them wipe off on your fur and thank them.
Do I think it would be different with Kerry in office? YES!!!! He would at least bring us back from hells gate. Our position in the world wouldn't be one of bully. Our economy would turn around because people wouldn't be freaking out everytime the Homeland Security Office get poked by the Bush Admin to change the level.
But then this is TYPICAL for America. We always chose CRAP over QUALITY! This is the classic Beta versus VHS. Bush is VHS, Kerry Beta. Beta didn't do their marketing right and VHS lied and convinced more people.

Personally, I don't think the electoral college should exist anymore. The people are smart enough to vote for themselves (well maybe:). But, the electoral college still allows for the problem we saw in 2004. The electoral college was in place back when it was needed, that need is no longer, it should therefore, be removed.
I believe we are all entitled to our opinions unless the right wing has taken that away... (sorry, not even remotely going to justify that. That was a pot shot. Been reading Orwell too much lately)
First let me say, the ":)" is intended to indicate levity...
Second, I think the very idea of "trading votes" is wrong. WRONG in the way that cheating on your spouse is wrong, or shoplifting for whatever you want is wrong, or keying someone's car because you don't like them, their car, or their bumper stickers is wrong. It's just not right, nor is it ever justifiable.
It doesn't stop people from doing it, it's stupid, and there isn't much one can do about it... Unless you catch them at it, but even then it is tough (and expensive) to prove it in court.
I just thought it funny:P. Ha HA!:)

Making it "ILLEGAL" does NOTHING...
Thank you. I feel I have wasted moment of my life reading that stupid article.
High School Physics teaches us that light is a wave and a particle.
AND the interference pattern would have been different if they moved the whole assembly closer or father away from the wall.
I believe in parallel universes, but this was just incredibly useless.
