I agree totally with this statement... this was my exact feeling as midnight went by... it sucked.. nothing amazing happened... it was like "that's it?"
actually I found this was a pretty good series of movies (it's ewok adventure and ewoks battle for endor) I found them on video in a video store a while ago so they're on VHS.
What products and or projects are you considering in the future? Also, what happened to the wireless networking you were planning (and made a few steps to)? I have often considered setting up something similar to this on a local scale for a few friends. But I think it'd be awesome to be able to be free of US Worst for my internet service.
Oh yeah! There's nothing like Bjorn Lynne's music.. it actually seems to make you think... not only that but the tunes are memorable. just my 2 1/4 cents -MoOsEb0y
While you're playing grand turismo (if you can even get it started), when you crash your car it goes "oops there has been a fatal error in module gtr32.dll in fa4c:10fd, but since you were going to crash your car anyways, it doesn't matter"
In one point, I find this comparison rather biased. All the audible sound testing is done by only 10 people, and not only that, but with classical music, which HAS to sound crisp.. if this test were taken with rock, VQF would definately win hands down.. the way VQF works is similar to realaudio on steroids, in the respect that it smooths out distortion, so that you either don't notice it, or it's not annoying (i.e. jpeg vs. fractal)
correction... yamaha.. even if both companies have japanese names =), oh did I mention that solidaudio is making a portable player (similar to rio and mpman), which will play VQFs?
I'm afraid that you are mistaken there.. it is given out for free by yamaha, and there is a plugin for winamp, kjofol plays it natively, esprit will play them once you rape the yamaha player of it's dlls, c-4 soon will, and ntt (a japanese company, which originally invented it) also makes a player. quite clearly, there is significant support for it, plus how often do you see 96k (or even 80k!) MP3s that sound good?
I was just like you about a year ago, when I found a sound format called VQF.. it provided the quality of a 224 kbps mp3 with 96 kbps. The main problems that I've seen are that encoded does take much longer than mp3, (naturally, since you're packing more data in a smaller space, just like rar takes longer than zip) and also the fact that you can only play VQFs under linux with wine (eww!!).. I've racked up a pretty good collection of VQFs (1615+), and they all sound great.. more info about this format is available at www.vqf.com. I know many people in here are hardcore MP3ers, so that's the reason for the subject. Hope this helps ya, MoOsEb0y (mooseboy@vqf.com)
Personally, I would have the parents sign a waiver in to let the kids use the computers, saying that I'm not responsible for what their kids get into... just my $0.02
Oh Yeah? I finished DLing the matrix from my 2 meg cable modem a day ago, and while it wasn't by any means perfect, it was still good quality and the soundtrack was PERFECT.. oh, and the RIAA and any other crap-asses like the can KISS MY BUTT!

so just use a proxy server that somebody has.. it's not that hard to find them these days... (unless they decide to block ports 1080, 3128, and 8080)
Actually it's being worked on right now. They just had suffered a couple of setbacks as some of the equipment had to be moved.
