    Safeway is notorious for its contempt for its employees. My kid worked for them for a couplea years- get a flat on the way to work and be late and its all downhill from there.

    You must acknowledge that you live in a world where old people are unappreciated and that experience counts for shit. People, your peers, your managers, YOU... we all are more readily fooled by appearances than convinced by substance. Thus, if you look like a tired old man, that is was you are and memorizing the .NET library isn't going to bail you out, sorry.

    I made this mistake for years and thought that hard work and experience and knowledge would make it happen for me. Then I would get passed over in favor of some young punk in powerslacks, who I trained.

    What yearly safety inspections? They'll be done weekly.... automatically, by computer, when you go to fill up your tank.

    Yea, the old 'better teach your kids Chinese' line... allow me to explain.

    It a common wet dream among, I suspect - liberals, many that the US will soon be dominated by Asians.

    I believe this stems from the inaccurate beliefs that:

    1) China is the largest owner of US debt
    2) That treasury debt bestows any power to creditor( other than to collect interest or sell the debt )

    However, given that it is the UK/City of London that actually holds the majority of US debt it seems more likely that, if the sale of treasury debt to foreign powers is a risk to a national sovereignty... well we should be learning... British English. But those people are, largely Caucasian, and dont fit well into the western people defeated by clever non-western people trope.

    Glad I cold clear things up.

    When I hear enlargements like yours I am reminded of the first of my family who came to this land from Scotland. They faced tremendous persecution from the majority Indian population. Persecution that led up to and including murder, my great-great-... whatever grandfather was killed by Indians, murdered like a dog, surviving sons forced to survive in a hostile, hardscrabble land.

    Yet they overcame.
