    One possible use is for criminals to
    stop the police cars .... Think about it :)

    The Police use commonly available consumer cars
    for police work, and if they have a way of disabling these units, then everyone else will get them shortly thereafer, making the whole
    excersize moot.

    Yup ... I thought I was the only other human to have seen this movie!
    No one I've ever spoken too has ever heard of it

    I must check amazon to see if it's out on DVD yet :)

    And as far as personal belief systems being contradictory, that's entirely possible. Personal beliefs are usually not composed of a single belief system (If they were, people would be very arrogant, and probably very boring).
