    NO.

Some guys decided to start calling it a Dwarf Planet, after pretty much everyone else attending the IAU had gone home. They conspired to hold a meeting, without a full quorum and voted these BS standards into place. As disgusting a fixing of science as any effing millionaire/billionaire trying to rewrite school textbooks with whatever they personally would rather the youth of the nation end up spouting.

The more inflation, the more the other holders of dollars would be harmed. I think Russia would do themselves far more harm than they would the US and once it's done -- that's all they can do. Russia is currently an exporter of raw materials, not much in the way of manufactured goods. A pretty weak economy. The people of The Crimea will eventually share that benefit, too.

Listening to business people in the Crimea, they're quite aware what leaving Ukraine means to them - closing up shop, laying off workers, pulling up stakes and starting again somewhere where the heavy hand of Russian Customs and Duties will not interfer with supply and distribution.

It would certainly raise my eyebrows to hear the American people throw their full support behind public schools, which have been derided for decades as virtual slums of education. Stupid is as stupid funds.

A fascinating study I read revealed hand-outs to the poorest people put that money into motion in the economy fastest - the poor don't save, they are usually living hand to mouth and can think of things they need to spend the money on.

Giving it to the rich doesn't result in quick infusions into the economy because they tend to sit on it, squirrel it away, not so much save or invest.

Yet we often hear how cutting taxes on the rich will boost the economy - nothing could be worse, to be frank.
