this screen scewing and modification has got to stop and it's been happening waaaaay too much to be cute anymore. Something also appears to be interfering with the proper printer stream.
"I know I wouldn't mind having a dozen or so cheap Cappuccino-type knockoffs... building in quantity would probably make them a lot cheaper than the $300+ for an industrial SBC. In-dash MP3 player, anyone?"
The argument that robots will take humanity over is a little silly. I think one of the first things I would do would be to make the robots weakened and or disableable(is this a word).
"You assume most computer geeks don't care about financial matters, just because you don't. That's just because you're still in school and living with mommy."
I just think that most of the interest in such things is usually either from business majors or people with a great deal of cash.
Curiously I would like to know how one actually goes about building a robot of any decent calibur? How is this accomplished in any reasonable way? I had trouble building a proper electromagnet in elementary school.
Is it just me or is the only thing that really is important here is that Enron was hiding illegal activities (ie. tax evasion, etc) from people? Isn't that less than honest?

and hence my original post wondering if they had created a new set of domains. But I guess the Tuvaluians are quite pleased I would assume.

I have heard of these projects before and I really don't see how they help me in the least in any way. *I* don't go to MIT and I really don't think I should want to (I like to get a balanced education and not just all technical). What about AI and all that being promised to do all manner of things. I havn't really even seen a decent say simple chat bot that even used a simplistic neural network.

Why is this revolutionary? And why does Apple seem to put such great stock in it? Aren't things like this mostly old hat with a nifty interface?
Some points to actually owning one?

I normally do all my own copying. Most people don't bother me.

Maybe I didn't notice this the half dozen times I have been there for some reason or another.

Is it common to allow companies to use your credit card?
1. Why is this person(s) still working without a paycheck?
2. How does this person survive? Programming is a demanding job and dosn't work well with 2 jobs+.

I just don't care about most things financial.
The easiest way to get to sleep for me is to hear one of those interesting (and I use the term loosely) reports.
And could someone please tell me why it's important for a computer geek (who most likely) dosn't really care about financial matters?

how could anyone have the ability to do anything like that? any concrete examples or explanations?
