    I don't understand that. If he's an independent webmaster it will cost him a non-paying customer, the kind you really can do without.
    If he is on the pay-roll he should probably join a union.

    Pfff, I installed an image of my desktop als eprom splash image. Now my laptop doesn't even need to boot an OS to get a picture of my desktop.

    Given the fact that these patents are prepared by legal professionals and that these professionals themselves already note the prior art and still want to file for the bogus patent, I would say all possible malpractice punishments should be applied.
    And preferably also the somewhat harsh punishment you seem to consider suitable for disagreeing with you.

    Your question makes no sense, unlike other industrial nations, the US is receiving more money from the UN than it pays.

    I agree, that should be a lot higher. The US are not even in the top 10 per capita contributor but they receive the biggest share of the UN spending.
