I called around to just about every ISP I could find that services my area... no dice. This was in early fall, so I suppose they might have something now, but I think the deal I'm getting is still better =)
Rob, I too live just outside Ann Arbor in Saline. In my area there is no DSL or cable either.
A guy in my neighborhood has a T1 to his house and sells service off it for $35/month, using Motorola's Canopy. he can get up to a 10 mile radius, so it's possible that you're within range.
As a result, you get 1.5Mbps (shared) upstream AND downstream, which is better than most cable service. It's been very reliable, and cheaper than cable too.
Anyone who's interested, drop me a note and I can give you the info.
I was at the conference, and spoke to the woman who received the award on behalf of librarians. Some libraries may be installing censoring software, but the librarians certainly don't like it, and they fight tooth & nail against it.
I sent email to the address in the article and here was the response:
A high-resolution, color image of a fiber tract positioned on a 3-D model of the human head is available from the Office of Medical Public Affairs upon request. Their phone number is (314) 286-0100.
Also, the paper is available on-line at . It is under the section "Current Issue".
PNAS News Office
Maybe the Office of Medical Public Affairs wants their phones/.ed =)
HTML works very well in HTML, too, although I've found that Java seems to have trouble with Java ... so watch out for that.
This reminds me of a time I was in Las Vegas ... the MGM Grand has a huge screen out front that shows whatever marketing stuff they want...
... quite hilarious.
anyway, one morning around 2am or so, i was walking by and there was a Windows NT BSOD on it
FYI -- If you're planning to buy, consider getting a Select ADC membership. It costs $500 and you'll get discounts on one hardware purchase.
I just saved $700 (net $200 after membership) on a 17" PB with 2GB RAM.
Plus, you get access to Tiger betas & all the fun stuff that comes with.
your sig should have oct(115), not oct(1 15)

Since WSAD 5.0 is based on Eclipse 2.0, does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade WSAD 5.0 to use Eclipse 2.1 instead?
Thanks!
I also donated $100 with no problem about an hour ago...
That's pretty cool. It's nice to see that Gnome is catching up to Windows, MacOS, and BeOS on the display front...
