Oh, I'm sure there are similar accidents and such already. My brother personally destroyed two 7-tons during sandstorms while in Iraq, and saw countless other pieces of equipment get trashed while in Motor T and Bulk Fuel. I sincerely doubt that they are going to be using stuff like this around 30 million dollar aircraft for a long time. Certainly nothing that the USMC gets near, anyway.
I still don't understand why they can't set up local servers. I mean, you can do everything via remote, and these companies still usually maintain a locally based customer service number (they did here, anyway, they were in California) so how hard would it be to merge the two? S-E just really amazed me with the depth of their obstinance as regards modern gaming conventions. It took them 4 freaking years to deliver a windowed mode on the PC for Christ's sake, not to mention just as long to deal with the rampant gil-selling that inflated the economy into the stratosphere and the fish bots and NM monopolization. They scored a home run on the game mechanics but failed horribly in execution. My two cents, anyway.
I don't think it would be much of a stretch at all for them to decide in Win8 or Win9 to require you to always have an internet connection so you can login to Windows using a "Live" account, for exactly the same reasons D3 requires it for single player mode: identity, DRM, security and updates.

I understand that, but the person I was responding to was speaking of the U.S. and Europe as a whole, characterizing them as having the opinion that "Foreigners steal our jobs." I was simply pointing out that the number of people who have a blanket hatred foreigners is relatively small in the US. There are very few people I've ever met and talked to that have every begrudged someone from coming here through legal channels (and yes, it comes up, I'm very politically active). It kinda came off like he was accusing the entire continents as being racist, which is untrue.

I have no doubt that eventually Apple is going to kill off their PC's in lieu of the more easily controlled iPad/iPod/iPhone line, and I'm sure I'll see about a billion news articles about "Apple is a revolutionary for revolutionizing the revolution"...but I'll be reading that news article on my PC, as will the majority of other people out there.
The tablet is a poor substitute for a real computer. If you want an internet box to play browser based games on, great, but most people want a lot more.
