PayPal offers absolutely no protection for
international clients. I'm canadian and have
a paypal account too.
luckily for me, all of my transactions thus
far have went very well.
though I'm getting really pissed off that I can't
send money to a personal account from my premier
account because personal accounts can no longer
accept money from a credit card.
well WTF, I'm Canadian, its not like I'm gonna
have a US bank account now will I?
Stop bitching about MS. The real battles
are against the DMCA, SDMI, the SSSCA and other
bogus attempt at oppression that the RIAA
and MPAA dream up of.
Everyone is so quick to point out MS's faults
but no one even mentions the good that MS
has done. You may not like it, but MS has
given the IT industry exactly what they needed,
a common platform for applications development.
Without MS around, companies would be losing
tons of money trying to support every concievable,
marketable platform out there. Without MS,
the whole drive for Linux & Star/OpenOffice might
not have ever happened.
The world needs a Microsoft. Whether they play
the devil or the saint, Microsoft serves a
purpose.
don't understand the need for constant upgrading

Red Hat 7.2 Released

I'm still running 6.2 w/ any patches that
concern me.
I don't particularly see any need to upgrade
to 7.0, 7.1 or 7.2 for that matter.
sure, its more work and it might
cost a little more.. but dump
the right distro of *nix or BSD
on it and you get web, mail,
shell and ftp servers for free.
run samba and you get an internal
file server for free too.
not about Windsor or Sarnia (though I've
heard stories)
I shop on Sundays, and I'm not exactly a
religious person either... no one is hauling
my ass off to jail..
interesting interesting interesting...
so long as its for "personal use" then
copying is allowed... hmm...
where the fuck are you getting this shit from?
Won't they need a transit number as well
as a bank account number?
Some good info here that shouldn't be missed!
I can't find VX2.DLL on my Win2K box.

Is this specific to a particular version?

Personally I always find it amusing how American
view points of History differs so dramatically
with the rest of the world...

and the jail time could have been justified.
However, he was merely speaking at a hacker's

I thought it was UUDD not UDUD..
yeah this is true.

forget about living a police state, its
rapidly turning into a police world...
Man, I don't know who can even think that Iron Chef USA can even compete on the same level
as the original...
Anyone like the English dubbing of Kaga?
:)
Personally I think his voice actor doesn't
do him justice and I would prefer the hearing
him in Japanese.
On the other hand, one of the voice actresses
for the female guests on the panel has got the
sexiest voice I have ever heard.
Well isn't it?
What would you define as "American Food"??
OMG, what is up with Iron Chef American dancing
around like that?
This is one of the worst shows (yes, even worst
than Hot of the Grill with Bobbly Flay) I have
ever seen!

bigger bucks to maintain C/C++

to program is Java leaves me
with a fallback
Kinda like the Cobalt programmers
during the Y2K frenzy..
So your contention is that a program
can run just as fast on a virtual machine
as one that is compiled natively?
I'd like to see that please.

don't flame me for not knowing..

Don't they care that one of their citizens
is being held prisoner without trial

If this case had been reversed, you'd here
plenty of yelling and screaming from

exactly.. I didn't know what all the
hoopla was about. The key words in
the patent were "point of sale"
No exchange of cash, no sale -> no
patent infringement.
Mod that above post up!!!
