    The indication is the important part. Even in apps that do have a refresh button: you press it, nothing changes. Did it actually refresh or did it fail to connect?

    This is their corporate offices, not a warehouse.

    But its the same problem, executives and employees moving between their 2 headquarters would have to go through international flights. And some percentage would be moving to the new location. I doubt any amount of government subsidies would make that worthwhile.

    One of the criteria was that it was near an airport with a non-stop flight to Seattle. Which really makes no sense, why move if you are going to be shuttling back and forth all the time.

    My guess is this is a first step in moving the entire company to a cheaper location. A city that is so desperate that they will get to be entirely tax free for the company.

    Not in urban areas? So it will go from a place nobody lives to a place nobody wants to go?

    Yeah I know most modern airports are on the outside of the city, but planes can fly over cities, hyperloop can't.

    All this thing is designed to do is to suck money out of public grants.

    Money that could go to fix our crumbling infrastructure. A single hyperloop route from LA to Chicago couple probably build regular light rail infrastructure for a dozen cities.

    Of course the rich politicans that fund these things would never be caught dead on public transportation.

    The price for silver today is under $18. Unless some new 2010-ish style bubble starts up, it wont be over $23 anytime soon. So, on average, you have lost over 20%.
