Oh, I thought you wanted the jack removed because it took up too much space in the phone. Not the problem, is it? Is it because you own the perfect shitty overpriced headphones, Beats, and want to squeeze as much money out of your customers at possible?
Do keep in mind that the self driving cars have cameras in all directions. They will be aware that you are following it around. If you cut one off and cause an accident.... well... I bet that self driving equipment will be pretty expensive for you to replace.
They test these things near the area where I work. Saw it take a wrong turn at my work's parking log. Was able to make a 3-point turn, presumably on its own. If you are going to teach a car to drive itself, Pittsburgh is a good choice. If you can drive here you can drive anywhere in the US.
However, i live on a one lane dead-end street with parking on both sides and no turn-around bulb. Would be hilarious trying to see it navigate that disaster.
I agree that municipalities giving companies a virtual monopoly should be illegal. But my locale has done no such laws and yet the Comcast/Verizon duopoly here is just annoying as when Comcast ran the whole thing.
But you can't seriously believe that corporations will play fair once the regulations have been removed. Do you have any idea how expensive it is to roll out fiber/cable? Some upstart company isn't going to just show up and deploy when the existing monopolies/oligharchies will just drop their prices to nothing for a few months to make sure any new competitors are destroyed.
The existing companies are so entrenched that only regulation can dig them out. And even then, who can afford to lay enough new fiber to compete?
Look at Ma Bell in the 60's-80's. Do you think deregulation was what finally broke the monopoly? Do you think we should have left them alone? Enjoy being forced to buy your phone from the phone company, and your cable box from the cable company.
Android phones can be set to charge only. though the communication USB port on cars will only provide 500 milliamps max. (the one in my Acura must be significantly worse, the phone would drain the battery if I am using it for GPS, even with the screen off)
Dedicated power chargers will provide the full 2.1 amps to charge the phone very fast, even when it is in use. Safer and more effective, what's not to like. Just keep an extra wall charger and 12v charger in your car.
Found the person that owns a set of Beats.
Go ahead and keep telling yourself they are not complete shit.
You greatly overestimate the intelligence of fanboys.

I always take special notice when someone driving the same car as me is on the road.
You can imagine my surprise when a grey haired old lady gunned it at an intersection in her Acura RSX. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen.
Instead, we should pay people to achieve the goals of civilization: [...]
Who is this "we" that's doing the paying?
The robots, obviously. They have jobs so they can afford to pay humans to do maintenance jobs that are too dangerous to be done by robots.
They need to get Robert Picardo to do the voice prompts for this thing.
Actually Carnegie Mellon University was the reason they chose Pittsburgh. That is where they got all their employees from.

So you are saying that the USA should become more like China and Russia?
Fuck right off.
Obviously no pardons take place until the lame-duck period starts after the election.
But there is no way Obama would pardon Snowden. It was his freaking government doing all the illegal shit that Snowden reported on.
Hell yeah I do. From Guinness to Paulaner.

But can a VIC-20 run Enterprise Software?
Pardon my ignorance, what is "a blue?"
Yo, listen up...
Oh no, according to marketing people, marketing people are more important that people that actually do shit.
I sexually identify as an Irish person.
Except during Oktoberfest, when I am German.
Except that the problem of cable companies abusing their customers was caused by deregulation.

And the adapter will only be $50. What a deal!
I wonder if Wells Fargo is still using TekPortal. That thing is such a pile of crap that I would not trust my money with those assholes.
On my computer? Not bloody well.
Actually I do get good sound and reliability from my car, perhaps it is just battery powered devices with quirky interfaces that have the problem.
I notice you did not actually suggest any bluetooth products you have experience with and are not shit.
Interesting, I was not even aware Creative Labs still existed. Or did someone buy them to slap the Creative label on existing products?
