Taking account of the consultation results, the Commission will publish in the autumn a document by its technical experts which will no doubt refer to ISA among many other things. That is all. (NB such “staff working documents” are not adopted by the Commission at political level and have no legal status.) Nothing more is expected in the foreseeable future.
It is part of the EC’s job – because it has been mandated to do so by Member States, including the UK – to look at, promote research into and consult stakeholders about new road safety technology which might ultimately save lives. This is done in close cooperation with Member States and the UK has generally supported such efforts.”
It might also seem strange to some that the UK government -if the press reports are accurate at least in that respect – apparently objects so violently to even being consulted about a range of future ways in which lives could be saved on Europe’s roads. --
You only need paid support from Oracle if you want updated timezones faster than they do regular updates of the JRE (at least 4 times a year with the new Java CPU scheduling) and you can't build the timezone packaging kit previously mentioned in that blog post.

Yes, a video in port and audio in, which can easily be displayed in a window or fullscreen. And then you can plug your PS2 or Xbox or TV Tuner or other analogue source straight into your Mac. No messy porting of software, multitasking whilst gaming and a useful feature.
Heck, who wants to sink resources into porting games when the consoles are peanuts in cost?:)

C) Who'd put it in the living room?! There's a whole range of Pure (makers of The Bug) DAB radios, from Hifi stackers to wood cased kitchen radios. We have a Pure Evoke-1 in the kitchen. In the living room, we have Sky Digital, so nearly all the radio channels are duplicated there.

I just installed it.
MP2 is the native stream off most DAB systems, cos thats what comes out of the chipset. Easy enough to convert. And it happily plays back MP3s, which I record on my PC running Dabbar (because it has EpgExplorer)...
Went to the launch (at the Dali Gallery), wasn't completely sold. Got one. Got irritated by the bugs, but lived with them.
Just been upgrading the firmware on it (lets make everyone scream, it needs Windows to update the flash...), so now it has rewind and fast forward when playing back off SD card.
Lovely functionality, still undecided on the ergonomics, and I wish the SD slot was on the front.
Ignore me... joy of caching. The story went up originally without that para embellishing the limits. But then even the new paragraph is predominantly speculation.

Er, it's designed to be a bedside radio. Hence the angleable display, low button count, and alarm features.
If you want a DAB radio which can be stacked, than there's plenty of others to choose from.
