    Certainly this is fuckingly annoying and not very tasteful.
    But you have to imagine how these people were educated, what they went through..
    To not become very radical in this situation must be awfully hard if not impossible!
    I don't want to defend the terrorists - no way. I don't want these people to go on partying and dacning about the thousands of killed - no way.
    But I do defend these dancing and partying people a little bit. Oppression over a long period of time can drive people crazy!

    This is the act of a bunch of mad people. Even if the percantage of mad persons might be higher in some peoples - it wasn't a people who did this.

    .. it's a nice article, yea. And probably most of it is true.
    But i always ask myself whether we need to conquer the market, if we need to build things the managers like. Or if we want to make things _we_ like.
    I mean - whatfor does the world (including managers, they just dont know it:) need web applications and web services and all this crap?? Does it increase productivity? I dont believe this. I dont believe at all that computers have been necessaery in the first point. Yea, now they are, cause we integrated them into our lifes. But i think mostly they are just for fun.
    So let's write applications for fun - not for managers!

    In my experience pngs have larger file sizes most of the time.
    Perhaps this is not a matter of the file format but of the programs i use(d). Nevertheless it's an important issue - even if the format is cool, there have to be many programs which use this coolness..

    I wrote something like most of the people still arrested arent the ones who burn cars and so on. I know them a little bit, most of them come from the city where i live, ok?
    Moreover it was more the case that the police - our nice and good helper - hospitalized peaceful people who showed their concerns about this conference, about globalization, whatever, ask them. They provoked people, they hurted people physically and mentally, they destroyed the GSF headquarter.
    Additionally these "violent morons" as you call them never said they want to protect your rights. Never ever. Probably cause nobody wants to protect anything from you.

    hey, an article in the NY Times isnt that bad, isnt it?
    Here in Europe there around still around 25 or more people arrested for making culture, for protesting against capitalism. And most of the arent the big big mad bad "Black Block". They are persons expressing their opinions about globalization in a creative way.
    I dont say that it is right what happens in the US with this Russiun guy. But it is a fact that this isnt such a very very big event.

    Never found this on cddb. Same CDs are twice in the database with slightly different names, tracks are named incorrect and so on.
    i admit it isnt easy to keep a big database really accurate when every in the world can submit entries. But they shouldnt be pride on this, because it is a fact the data is _not_ accurate.

    thats plain stupid. on 02.12.1942 the first artificial chain reaction started in Chicago in a reactor built by Fermi. the bombs were built in 44/45. Thw whole things was theoretically dicovered around 40.
