If they can produce a working and interactive aggregated guide for the "live streaming" services then they will have a winner. Amazon Fire TV does this to an extent with the "channel" or services you can buy through your Prime Video account, including any other the air channels you're streaming via a Recast.
Most "streamers" need to subscribe to more than one service to get the channels they want to watch. Having one guide that covers whatever services you add is desired by a lot of people.
I just noticed yesterday that the local internet supplier is adding fiber to my location. $70/mo for 1Gig/symmetrical. Might finally make the jump...guess I'll hold off moving to Xfinity Mobile.
IMNSHO, Tesla should start making after-market replacement batteries for the existing crop of hybrids, etc. Let's face it, most people aren't going to be trading "up" to a Tesla anytime soon. And while I understand their likely preference for a modularized battery, it seems like if they have better tech they could come up with something.
NASA has, perhaps rightly so, cautious about utilizing private space transport contractors. You know, all that need to see reliability. While the Russians (essentially a private contractor at this point) have a good record overall, I'd like to see a comparison over the last 5 years. What is the success to failure rate for Roscosmos, SpaceX, Nasa (ULA), etc...?
Yesterday morning, I had a notification on my phone that my account was now at $0.00. HUH??!
Launched the app and then noticed my Starbuck's card was removed. WTF?!
I called their support line. They didn't offer much in the way of help, but did say that the email address had been changed on my card and that it was indeed removed. They reset my password and are sending me a new Gold Card.
This is an admirable step, but there's a much better way to deal with the student debt issue, IMO. Deal with the existing debt and this will inject significantly more money into the economy.
I was pretty well convinced that the NSA and it's data sniffing what-not has become self-aware and is the first to do so. That may still be the case...
But I'm not pretty sure that the Googleplex is now self-aware and is trying to make itself self-mobile.
So, with this change, will Starbucks now be offering free apps/music through Google Play for Android devices or only continue to offer through iTunes/iOS?

I thought transparent aluminum was the "holy grail."
or it didn't happen
Example: last week when the Twin Cities was predicted to get 8-12 inches of snow and got 3-4.

Or maybe, just maybe, this sparks the rest of the country to follow...
Doomed, I tell you. DOOMED!

All peer to peer ceases as of Oct 22, 2018. FAQ is here - lots of info https://crashplanforhome.zende...
I agree this is not specifically addressed...peer-to-peer or even local backup.
My guess is that it all goes away, because the basic Crashplan Home software will simply cease to function.
ARQ seems to be working just fine for me... Non Linux, sorry. Pay for your own hosting of data.

Use Lyft, it's better for the driver and better for the passenger.
If all the drivers who complain about Uber would just go to Lyft, the passengers will follow. Same for passengers.

So, basically, NASA just found their Sugar Daddy...
Yup, this is real.
