    but it depends on how close you are to a local attraction or work site. i had to drive into manhattan today and parked in the $25 garage because it's the closest one to where i work. sure i can find a cheaper spot but then it's a 10 minute walk for me

    and it's not my money. i get pre-tax parking benefits from my employer and pay with a special credit card

    and almost every A grade has 10 points of violations for nonsense like certificates not being displayed in the open or something similar. take those away from a C and you get a B which is mostly stuff like food not being kept at a warm or cold enough temperature because in some cases the food being served is not supposed to be overheated or over chilled.

    it's already being done, only difference is it's not streamed via IP to end users but sent via QAM to watch on tv through your cable box. streaming is a lot more overhead

    even then the last mile is not the limiting factor on live events, it's level 3 other other tier 1 providers. since every sport every team plays half their games away from home, there isn't enough bandwidth for everyone to stream every game live cross country

    how will a CDN work for live events?
    CDN's are just caching data for older shows, not for streaming live events

    i can see streaming for shows, but not for live events. not enough bandwidth and it's dumb to stream live sports via TCP/IP when there is a better protocol being used

    almost every cable provider has a smartphone app so you can change channels via the phone

    for live TV i usually only watch sports and i know which games are on which channels and at what times
    my wife will watch some reality shows and she knows when they are on as well
    for netflix i have profiles and lists set up
    HBO Go i have a list as well
    for premium movies i will rent from itunes or vudu. netflix is usually crap for a decent movie so i don't even bother searching for it

    i don't know why anyone would sit down and search for a specific show playing live or on a streaming service. anyone who watches a show on TV knows the times that its on or will go to the cable provider's on demand service to watch it if they missed the last showing. or they will have it in their Hulu queue

    Larry flynt used paid models who knew what they were doing, most of the time

    revenge porn is posting pics of normal people who didn't give their consent to post private photos for everyone to see and some people to make money off them

    yep, the flash is used to cache files

    huge difference from the vanilla 5400 drive in my macbook

    my HD died in my macbook last year
    it was out of warranty so i bought a hybrid drive at best buy. 1TB with 32MB of flash and it made a huge difference in speed.
    pure SSD is most likely faster, but not enough for me to shell out all that money for a second here and there

    vudu is owned by wal mart

    both are positioned to profit from a move to digital media and a drop in DVD/blu ray sales. amazon instant is like a bastard stepchild in streaming video

    you do know that britain and other western european nations colonized india, china, africa and asia starting in the 1700's, fought each other over the colonies and killed lots of natives via war and starvation over the two centuries to spread their empires. including using the natives in their armies in european wars.

    france and some of the countries that eventually became germany invaded russia in 1812 and around 1845 or whenever the crimean war was fought along with the US sending marines to murmansk, poland invading russia after WW1 and germany in WW2

    most of the problems in the world today are the result of british, french and german imperialism along with lying to colonies about independence for support in wars

    yeah, billions in pork to build and support airports in rural areas along with hardly used bridges and lots of other "infrastructure"
    and i pay a tax to build out telecommunications in rural areas in the form of USF

    lots of studies show that the blue areas pay the most taxes and the red areas use up most of the federal spending while they preach independence and whatever

    britain killed people in ireland via a famine
    in both cases there were laws against helping those who were starving

    britain developed the first concentration camp during the boer war in south africa
    the western powers killed a lot of africans in war there
    britain killed people in afghanistan in the 1800s
    britain and france attacked russia in the crimean war
    britain and other western powers killed lots of people in china

    russia/USSR being invaded 3 or 4 times helped cause the cold war as well

    germans in WW1
    poland after WW1
    US during russian revolution
    germany in WW2

    and that doesn't include all their other wars and invasions from northern and western europe before that
