    i know some asian people and their idea of beauty is different than european. but for us europeans, this is old news. most models used on magazine covers and beauty queens have had similar facial shapes and features for decades. i remember seeing feminists on Maury and other talk shows in the 80's complaining how the media had a narrow view of beauty.

    a lot of the hippy parents don't discipline their kids. i've seen on such kid like that. runs like mad in a movie theater disturbing others.

    and a lot of people are having kids later in life at the age where they want to chill out more instead of play with a small kid after work.

    nope, there is a vaccine fund for damages. you can't sue if your kid gets sick from a vaccine and you have to prove it was the vaccine that caused it

    i think I read that NJ has the highest autisim rate. and i don't know if it is true, but some of the older studies have linked autism to upper middle class families and zip codes

    they do use Broadcom in iCrap and their computers and their wifi routers. And the word is that if your wifi is apple everything then they use the Broadcom extensions in the chips to make it faster.

    Steam is faster along with xbox downloads. itunes and google play is hit and miss. some apps download fast others are like watching trees grow. same with streaming video on netflix and vudu. on vudu i've noticed older content is SLOW and cuts out a lot of times, most likely because it's not on a CDN

    not much considering that your speed is mostly dependent on the CDN that your content is being hosted on and it's relation to you.

    AT&T has mobile share and separates the price from the phone now if you use NEXT. unless you go traditional 2 year contract. Verizon does the same with EDGE

    people replace phones every two years. you can keep an ipad at least twice as long. I have an ipad 2 i bought on launch day with a cracked screen that i plan to use for at least another two years if nothing else as a cheap ereader to carry tech books around.

    i will probably buy a refurb ipad air 2 this year when the new version comes out and keep it another 4-5 years as well

    they should just raise the price of service to cover the true cost of operating the network. as it is now they use money from FIOS, business and wireless to pay for copper

    Even on Google fiber Netflix doesn't stream much faster than 5mbps. Because the servers can't handle millions of people connecting at 20mbps at once.

    Happens with streaming hbo and sports all the time as well and they use a cdn.

    that's the marketing nonsense from Uber. in reality you are nothing more than a taxi cab except you are using your own car, have no commercial insurance and Uber/Lyft act as the dispatcher instead of some local cab company taking calls

    with over time and some specialties like anesthesia a nurse can make in the $120,000 range which is like top 10% of all income earners. but generic nurses aren't that well paid anymore because so many people went into the field in the last decade
