    create a FW rule for those IP's only for specified ports and only to the IP's they need to access

    if a vendor can't give you a static IP then they are probably amateurs or a fly by night shop and risky to deal with

    that's not a court of law you idiot
    in a court of law there is something called chain of custody for criminal cases. you have to prove the evidence was collected legally

    NSA has been doing this for decades. so far they haven't politicized any data they collect. probably because their money comes from congress and they have to testify to congress on a regular schedule

    #3 IOS has cloud backup as part of the OS and free. it will backup over wifi when plugged into a power outlet. and will restore over wifi without needing itunes

    only downside is that its 5GB per itunes account so if you share an apple ID like my wife and i do then you have to pay to cloud backup multiple devices

    #7 you don't have to install any update you don't want to

    the kernel might be open source but there is lots of non-open software on every android phone that can send data to NSA. carrier IQ for instance

    ios you can set it up for email to be on the lock screen

    the rest are niche geeky things that i would have cared about a decade ago, but not anymore. i hate most of the widgets and have been deleting most of mine lately. the default app thing seems useless. same with outside the app store apps.

    i hate the mail client on the S3 compared to my iphone
    i hate the keyboard compared to iOS
    the screen seems flaky compared to my iphone 5
    the S3 is laggy
    the who HD quality screen is not true. lots of stuff looks better on the iphone
    which apps have data sharing so i can try them out?
    i tried google now for a few days and turned it off. about as useless as siri

    And don't want to work 80 hour weeks including weekends. You can take newly graduated college kids and work them like slaves. They even like it and think its cool. If you give them food at work they will live at the office for you

    Meanwhile old people want to leave the office towards late afternoon to spend time with their sex mates and kids. They don't want to come in on the weekends so they can spend time with their families

    there is some, but mostly kids at 18 are still dumb

    i went to basic training in 1992 and lots of people thought learning how to shoot and kill people was cool, me included. same with lots of infantry guys i knew. most of them were normal family people except when they got orders to go to war. then they went to shoot people because the orders said to. they came back to their wives and kids afterwards.

    i knew a few people who fought in Panama and Kuwait in 1990, killed people and were normal people afterwards. and they would do it again. the screwed up ones are mostly the ones who came very close to death themselves in a firefight or had to kill someone at very close quarters where it was personal
