    A6 is already a 100% Apple design since they have an architecture license from ARM. one of the few companies that have it.

    as long as their design tools match up with TSMC's production they should be OK

    A5 and earlier chips were modified Samsung designs

    do they really ghost like a normal person will see it?

    or is this like the yellow imac screengate of a few years ago where people would go hysterical because some software test program told them their imac screen was bad?

    the android market is really the Samsung market since Samsung takes home something like 95% of all profits on android phones and sells the most units

    samsung would be dumb not to think about dumping google

    iTunes was selling apps in the days of the hard drive iPod classics. Simple games

    iPhone didn't have a sdk for the first year probably because it wasn't ready

    From all the stories I've read it took apple a lot of work just to ship the original product on time and barely stable. There is no way they started on the sdk from scratch and had it ready a year later. It was probably in development but couldn't ship on time and Steve jobs just lied like he always does to throw the competition off

    I still can't figure out which problem it solves

    Mobile phones give you computing power on the go
    You can do the same on a laptop but sometimes you want a computer there with you when you're out of the house and about

    What does google glass do other than bombard me with data when I'm outside taking a walk to relax?

    You have to copy pretty close to get sued
    Lots of plots are similar but the story is different enough that its ok

    As for time, culture changes so unless you write historical fiction you won't get sued. Even the it's pretty easy to make up your own stuff

    crazy, the only movies are the old copyrighted ones

    no new movie, has been made in the last 30 some years because of these copyright laws
    no new book has been written
    no new music made

    we are forced to keep on buying the same old movies over and over

    apple TV will stream from iphones and ipads. you can stream apps.

    i stream the disney channel app from my ipad to the apple TV

    It streams content from iTunes so there is your external storage

    And the coolest thing is that if your laptop is on VPN it will still stream to your Apple TV on your local network

    1080p is there in the latest model and seems to upscale about as we'll as my ps3

    I have an Xbox, ps3 and an Apple TV

    Apple TV does AirPlay and buying content from iTunes i get a file I can keep on my computers, stream locally or put on my iPhone or iPad when I go out

    How does that cloud work out for you when it rains in Virginia or a hurricane hits and floods all the routing centers?

    And Apple TV lets me display content from an app. Like say streaming the Disney channel app to my TV because I don't have cable anymore. Netflix and amazon selection is still pretty bad

    amazon is losing the content battle to netflix and for everything else Roku doesn't do anything that the other boxes do

    TV IP is coming of age in 2013. Disney signed with netflix and dumped starz or whoever they had before

    if you pay for cable the only reason you are doing it is for sports, international channels or you absolutely have to watch some shows like Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad

    for the rest of us we will buy apple TV and google TV is starting to look interesting
    Roku will be dead soon

    apple TV is a scam to make you stay in the apple ecosystem with airplay. otherwise using bin reject CPU's in a low margin device was genius
    google TV seems to be bringing you content to kill your cable sub. but its playing on the niches like international programming. i know people who pay close to $200 a month for cable/internet/tv only for a few international channels

    intel will probably have a cool booth and The Verge/Engadget/BGR and all the other blogger rags will hype the specs but it will probably die quick

    Between my wife and I we had all the iPhones on AT&T since the 3G which barely hit 1mbps in 2009. Here we are three years later and our iPhone 5's can download at 20mbps on a normal day in midtown manhattan.

    Verizon is the same. Sprint has always sucked but that is their problem.

    The only people who haven't seen an improvement are the ones who live in places where the cows outnumber the people

    for the last 5 years or so Honda cars won't start without the keyless entry. you can get into the car but you need the keyless system to activate the chip in the steering column to start the car. key alone won't do it

    my father in law bought a smart TV because the person in best buy sold it to him
    the apps suck
    they are so slow its like watching trees grow
    netflix is OK but the interface is better on the consoles and apple TV
    my mom bought a smart TV with no wifi adapter and doesn't want to spend more money

    when i showed her my x-box and what it does and explained that a smart TV only streams content for more money she lost interest. when i showed her how to stream russian TV over the internet to my apple TV without a cable sub her interest peaked.

    the best smart TV i have is my apple TV. i can stream the apps from my iphones or ipad to the TV. and some apps are custom built for it so you see the picture on the TV and data stays on the device. like the wii u and 3ds do with their multiple screens
