    Actually I would say: "Rust?  I wouldn't know, I don't use it."

    I'm blinded by hype, rather I'm blinded by job-security and an eye towards retirement and already getting one retirement check.  Still here on Fortran/77.

    Belay that, clicking the link doesn't show anything about text vs. non-text.  All that link does is attempt to force you to tell slashdot your Job Title, Industry, Company Size, Country and State.  Then you have to check another box saying you agree to all this.  Been here 17 years or so, its not shown under my user account, I wonder where else does it go?

    Recently obtained Term Life Insurance should be waived.  No attempt should be made to purposely lose to "cash in" and pay off student debt, fund charities or alma maters.

    Even with backups.  Some admins don't know how to restore.  They routinely run backups and file the tapes away or send them to off site storate.  (Mostly they don't even run backups anymore but the automation runs it, they just pack the tapes.)

    But ask them to do a restore, you get apoplectic fits as though it you were asking for Form 27b stroke 6 from the movie "Brazil".

    I've had cable cut for years now.  Didn't miss it.  (Broadcast shows weren't any better or worse.)

    However when newer TVs could connect to my LAN, that made a difference.
