    You missed the point. All the socialist states mentioned commited mass murder and genocide. Socialist states have a bad track record of going bad and doing this.     When you "mark" the choice you don't get chads.

    The county I live in uses punch cards. I have a hard time seeing how you can screw up using a punch card that is punched out by a lever actuated punch. The package the ballots cards come in says in big letter in english and spanish "Check your cards and make sure your vote counts." If you can't do that maybe you shouldn't vote. Absentee votes are paper ballots which are counted by hand. The machine read votes are fast and cheap. But who ever said elections should be cheap or easy. Don't vote? Don't bitch!

    Fair and easy election systems use paper ballots.
    Electronic and machine voting are incitement to commit fraud in my opinion.

    There were many messages and the moderators of the antispam foum at dslreports/broadband.com have deleted all but a few of them.

    I am really having quite a laugh about so many /.ers not knowing anything about dsl reports/broadband.com. It's like the consumer reports of xDSL and Cable broadband. There is even offical online realtime tech support provided in some of the ISP forums by the some broadband ISP's . ISPs are rated by the consumer there as well.

    Canadians and Mexicans are just as American as you are. People in Peru are Americans too.

    Please use the correct name for your country not the word American or America. It's incorrect. Don't be wrong.

    In Europe and Canada you may wait weeks, months or, years not hours for life threating conditions to be properly dealt with. Most US states require that hospitals treat anyone who shows up weather they can afford to pay or not. There is no rationing of health care. Health care in countries that mandaite state sponsorde health insurance ration care. That is the difference.

    Social Security is a clasic Ponzi scheme. If you or I tried to run a private retirement system the way the government does we would be doing time in federal prison. It is a scam. I am not counting on it being there when I retire and no one else should. The Social Security trust fund is empty. Democrats since LBJ have stolen every dime and squandered it all. LBJ was the first one to realize he could steal from it and no one would notice.

    For a historical note. Most of the racist politicians in the south were Democrat party members. All those cops out with the dogs and fire hoses were Democrat.
