Jeez... why are we even talking about the mellenium falcon when we haven't even invented chewies yet?? What goods a mellenium falcon without a chewbacca?
If theres increased hacker activity... shouldn't e-commerce sites be happy?? I mean, it's not everyday you get people coming along and improving your site for free. If they had malicious intent (in which case they'd be crackers) then I could understand.
Anyone know how much chip recalls cost approx.?
I mean... they go and make hundereds of chips and then they just destroy or analyze them after recall I assume?
Yes, I've read that. Obviously, if you obtain this ability or whatever you want to call it genetically you must be female since it's a female trait. But if we created a bionic eye which replaces our own or modifies it, then it wouldn't matter about the genetic makeup of your eye, would it?
With such a device, the genetics of it wouldn't matter. Like a bionic eye basically... Bionic hands/ears/whatever don't require genetic make-up... neither would this.
PowerSaw 2?? Yeah, heaps more powerful than the first one... Cuts through about 20 inches/sec.
Still, most of the blades at release suck, but they have some awesome looking ones coming...
Still for now I think I'll stick with my DreamCutter.
OK... so the monkey sees the arm, right? and can move it... Why not hook up this monkey into Quake and see what he's made of!! Hehe... seriously though, why not? It would be very interesting to see what another animal would do when faced with the possibility of moving like a human.
Mozilla are based upon Netscape, their choice to start a project. Now they want to say that because Netscape is using some of their code they cannot make money without Mozilla getting some?
IF we were even gonna kick up a fight about this, it'd end companies releasing their software open source. If they cannot open-source they're software and utilise the benefits, whilst making a profit they have no reason at all to open-source in the first place. Every company is out to make money, that doesn't mean they are bad, just that they need money to survive.
Too bad for both IBM and Intel... they're both being overtaken by companies which seem to care about technology a little more than they do.
Probably still care about money more though.
Hey Billy... Perhaps its time to write another one of those letters to the god damn homebrew community and ask them to stop stealing your software, eh??
Happy Birthday!!
It absorbs light, and then re-emits it as display on the screen?? Wow... sounds perfect for glare reduction, ect. No more light around the computer, more light FROM the computer!
I say 20 GHz by 2003. So there!! I don't care what they say. The processor is in the pudding...
If they can't copyright mistakes, then how are they gonna stop people from pirating windows??
But doesn't coffee have more energy than a Jolt??

It's not "free"... The ISP has already paid to use some bandwidth, and they should be allowed to use it how they like. Simple.

Maybe we could use this technique to become Tetrachromats?? We are the Tetrachromats. You will be assimilated. (vision-enabling laser and all...)

10 gHz?? P4?? They don't belong in the same sentence. Pentium 4 will be long gone before we even hit 5 gHz, let alone 10.
Just my 2 cents...
Damn... I can't wait to see this video.

I'm 15 and I code using OpenGL under C++... Then again, I use Visual C++ and GLUT so that makes things alot easier :P

Business-as-usual, trying to block out even reasonable competition. Sounds like Intel to me...

Wow... on the eve of Bill Gates birthday... his most precious software source code gets found to be stolen. Have a great one Billy!! ;]

I haven't been following this issue, but it sounds to me like the department of justice should get involved. Any chance of this happening??
I'll sue if I get stuck in any boring TV shows... No more getting a snack during ads, eh?? You'll be IMMERSED!!
THANK GOD for CPR!!
