Human kind has never put anything on the surface of Europa. We have only flown by and taken pictures. It would be a very dirty craft that could seed life from many miles above the surface.
Didn't Real Audio get into trouble for doing something like that. A lot of red faces and we are sorry, well will never do that again type of statements.
With all the storys on this site about companys trying to get info on evey site I visit and every ad I see I don't think I am also willing to give out every sound that comes out of my PC. Even I have limits!
Enough on evolution! The Kansas constitution will be changed and the BOE will be taken away from the nuts.
Is it so stupid to have a law against leaving your car running in Salina like they said on the web site? Our local Salina paper today had a report that well over half the stolen cars had the keys left in them. A cab was stolen when the driver left the cab running while picking up a lunch to be delivered for a customer. You know you are in a small town when a stolen cab makes the paper;-)
That was a long long time ago. They took me from CP/M-80 into the PC. I liked that they were not afraid to hack the hardware as well as the software. Oh the good old days they are going fast along with my hair;-)
I spend all day driawing schematics for control panels that go into auto assembly plants. So explain again how 3D is going to help my schematics? Trust me I am a professional.
Autodesk as been sticking us with a bill for developing a 3D program for you. If they would just stick AutoLisp in LT we would tell them to kiss off on ACAD2000.
There is some confusion over the Kansas Board of Education vote on evolution. The first is that the vote has little to do with evolution it is mostly about politics. The conservative wing of the Republican party was beat up badly in the 98/99 session of the Legislature. The Democrats and moderate Republicans joined with the Governor to pass a series of bills that left the "Johnson County" i.e. Conservative Republicans from suburban Kansas City frozen out. They talked of walking out and forming a third party but couldn't get the backbone to actually do it.
The only strength they had left was in the State BOE. The Kansas BOE is an independent elective office. Two of the members are from the KC area. They are the most conservative and were the force behind the changes in the science standards that happened to be finished over the summer. The conservatives saw some red meat to use to rally the tax dodging conservatives in Kansas City suburbs.
From the last post on this story at Slashdot people assume that it the rural vote that pushed this. It is really coming form people who don't want to pay Missouri taxes in combination with the rural votes.
The original plan was to push creation science but when the conservatives couldn't come up with the votes and there was talk of a lawsuit from the ACLU they just decided to remove evolution from state control and push the decision down to the local Board of Educations.
After the Legislature has to come up with enough money to cover the budget I am sure that there will be a Constitutional amendment to abolish the Kansas Board of Education.
There is a small problem. The Board of Education is set up in the Kansas Constitution. The memebers can not be hired or fired by anybody but the voters of the state.
In short they can do any thing they please except raise taxes. The Governor can't do anything but say that the BOE is being foolish. He has done that.
You might be right. The local state rep. is a lost cause but the AG has eyes for the govenor's office. She likes to brag on her pro consumer stance even though she doen't do that much really. Afer all it is her job to go after fraud.
While I am at I should tell the State school board that evolution is a fact even if they don't like it. Yea that is right I am from Knasas.

So whose clean room is clean enough for you?

Video is ok they can't do audio tape though. If they don't have an audio track they can tape you.
There was a chain of doughnut shops that got into trouble for the audio taping of employees. But the unblinking eye is ok with the goverment.
I am sure that MSFT would never break a contract. Just as Sun.

I know her stands on other issues it is a waste of time. The other problem is she got well over 65% of the vote last time.
In short sometimes goverment doesn't work to your advantage or sometimes at all.
I would email my state rep but she doesn't have an email address.
Sounds like a major project to get her up to speed!
